Default You name it, Buk does it

I am not sure exactly what I am going to be embarking on next. I am not sure if my strongman comp this fall is going to happen, maybe I will find an adventure race or a tri to train for, maybe an o-lift meet - but for now I just need to get back into it. And the title says it all. I think Dave originally mentioned this in one of my logs a long time ago. I am asking you guys to train me. Tell me what to do each day or come up with a routine, make your goals mine, or make any goals mine. Each day I will do what is suggested and agreed on the most and post my results, you can make suggestions for future days and second a current suggestion for the next(kind of like the phoomer game but we shouldn't get more than a few days out); or someone can take the lead and be my personal trainer. I am not yet certain that my shoulder is 100% so I might have to work around that just a bit, but otherwise I should be good to go.

Mold me.

That's a sweet idea but I'd keep the template pretty simple to maintain a smidgen of balance. After all everyone knows Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are national bench press day...with us lot guiding your routine you could end up with a Hunchback of Notre Damesque physique!

Interesting idea, Craig. Don't know where it will take you, if anywhere, since fitness is such a personal quest. Are you planning to do any active rehab for you shoulder or just take it easy for a while? I think others have had great success with NROL. Why don't you follow that for a couple of weeks to get back into the groove?

I will just cry shoulder if you guys have me doing too much bench pressing:p

Fin, any and all suggestions welcome. Im not buying any info-mercial carp though. I can do what you did yesterday, or some basterdaly workout you read about in a magazine, max effort DL, max pushups in a day?

I just want to have some fun with it. I just want it to be mixed up and full of hard work. Following a book doesn't sound exciting right now. I want to be challenged and be interactive. I think I am lonely in my secluded office.

I dislocated it about 9 weeks ago. Kept playing(volleyball) on it for a few weeks before I realized that it was kindof a serious injury. It has been resting since.

I do a little extra for my shoulder and will add in rehab type work where needed.

Should I scale the load to get sub 45? I will go as fast as I can, 45 minutes is fast thougXXXXX

Crap I was thinking of Linda = Three Bars of Death.
Murph: 100-pullups, 200-pushups, 300-squats, bookended by 2, 1 mile runs

16 minutes of running leaves 29 minutes - 13 rounds of Cindy in 20 minutes is my best recorded effort. It is going to be a puker!

If an old man like me can do 55:00, you can do 45:00. The real problem is how sore you'll be for the next challenge.

Hey, Craig. Nice to see the new log. Should be interesting to say the least. You could always join me on a long run or maybe a tempo run!

Can we give you a M&F "13 sets to bigger arms" workout?

Not only that, but didn't you pop the shoulder back in place and finish the match you were already playing??

We could add this type of stuff to your workouts... Pop your leg out of the hip socket, put it back into position and run 5 miles, etc.

Looking forward to this log, Craig. Should be entertaining to say the least. Sorry to hear about your shoulder - hope it doesn't give you too much trouble.
