Larrabee's Mass Update (LOG)
For the past week I have been doing CB's TT: For Mass- Insiders.
I am feeling great, with the increased cal/carb intake I am seeing some visible size gains in 1 week! Mostly due to food, but damn is this new workout of CB's sick. You AAP-ers will have to check it out the day it comes out, and those who aren't, what are you thinking?
Well, anyways, overall just wanted to say things are going good. bought my first tub of Muscle Milk (only had a sample before). Cookies and cream, damn good in ice cold water.
Also as I stated before I have been taking Beta-7 for one week so far. I don't know how much it is helping with recovery, as my legs were sore for 3 days after Workout B. Thats with the treatment from my trusty foam roller. I can't say if it is helping much with strength or size, we will see at the end of week 2 if I can up my weights. All you haters can hate on be for trying this, but I am sure many of you said this about creatine when it first came to the scene, I don't mind being an early adopter and trying something new out. Especially with all the praise it is getting from people and since many of the big names are giving it a shot, why not me.
I think that is about it for now, I will post again a week from now on my week 2 progress.

3 day leg soreness? Cool.
I wouldn't expect you to really see any efect of the beta-7 for about a month but I'm interested to see how it works. Keep us updated.

ya the way CB sets up the squat and the bench sets you are going to be sore for a few days, its like this:
1 set squats,
rest 1 minute
plank
(no Rest)
as many squats as possible with 30% less weight.
So you are basically doing a burnout, I think thats what I mean to call it.
But damn is it nice to eat a little bit for once and see some gains. Nothing like body composition changes.

No problem, and I will stick with my Diet Root Beer Soda Shake, thank you. Even if it causes the bubble-guts.

Glad things are going well with TT. Craig's programs are awesome.
I apologize for being ignorant on the topic, but what exactly is Beta-7?

Ankle is good, Played some 3 on 3 actually, can move much sliding left and right.
Beta-7 is a supp by biotest which is a slow releasing beta-alanine. Similar to creatine in how it works. Check out the site here: http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=1196017

all you haters....lol I loved that line. Hey, they can hate me too. I use Tribex 2 times a day, biotest creatine, take biotest BCAA 3 times a day, surge during my workout, and spike prior to workouts.
Hate on that...

Is that a sweet home gym you are lifting in, Mr. Newlife?
by the way, the TT for Muscle-Insiders that Kevin is using will be available publicly in late September. It comes as a bonus to my friend Brad Pilon's ebook on Muscle building myths.

haha I just read that artical and thought of this thread. I think that article is going maybe a bit far, but I really have no clue.
Are you up any weight kevin? I have found in the past after dieting, for the frist few weeks you can get a huge rebound effect.
