Taken the last couple days off due to a couple minor injuries. Uh, one is pretty embarrassing (let's just say I noticed it while in the bathroom on the throne ). I guess the heavy deads and squats back to back days was a tad much.

And my carpal tunnel (unofficially) has been killing me.

I've got a horrible cough that I've had for about 2 months and my wife and mom have been all over me to get to the doctor so I'm going tomorrow. I'll tell him about the cough and the carpal tunnel pain in my forearms.

By the way, what kind of carpal tunnel symptoms do you have? Mine's gotten a ton better just with some stretching that Bill helped me with. Not perfect, but better.

My right hand always is going numb. Anymore I can't do a lot of things that I normally could. Grip strength is way down. Pain in the ass.

I didn't get into my reg dr. today, booked up so I went to a walk in clinic. Turns out I've got bronchitis (sp?). Got an inhaler and antibiotics.

I'd post a question in Bill's area or the injury forum. Or, search.

I know what I do, but I'm not sure I could describe it well enough to help you.

I'll do some reading on-line. I'll work around it if neccesary.

I took today off too. Hoping to get back at it tomorrow. Turns out the wife had bronchitis too and the kids may have whooping cough. Who'dve thunk it?

I'm back after 11 days off. I got lazy. ha.

Anyway, I'm putting on too much fat too quickly. I do want to gain, but not like this so I'm going to have to add some HIIT and work out the diet pretty damn quick..... although I think I'll give it past Christmas. No sense in starting now with the holiday a week away.

As I was saying. did 20 mins of HIIT this morning. Jump rope. whew.

Tonight:
flat bb bench. 185 x 8; 215 x 6; 235 x 4; 250 x 3+ neg.; 250 x 3+ neg; 235 X 2; 135 x 12.
dips. Body weight plus - 35 x 8 for 3 sets.

Felt really good after I was done. Especially since I still got 250 after 11 days off. Last time I got 250 for only 2 reps. Not bad.

Still looking around for weightlifting chalk.

Today was squats.

135x10; 395x4; 400x5; 400x6; 300x8; 300x8

stiff legged deads.

225x8; 245x8; 245x8

Oh man. I was walking upstairs just now and I can barely do it. I'm sure I'm gonna be a hurt'n unit tomorrow and Friday.

Obviously eleven days off didn't make you weak.
Pretty strong lifts, GR.

Congrats on the PR, GR. You're kicking ass, especially on the squats. I wish I could squat half of what you do!
