Friday November 9 5:00 AM

Straight Sets with full rest

Daedlifts 8@205# 6@265# 6@265# 3@295# 1@335# 1@365# PR +20#

Bench Press 8@155# 3@185# 8@155# 3@190# 8@155# 3@195#

Tweaked my back slightly on the 365# but I got her up. 335# went so well I figured I might as well try for 20 over my max instead of 10. I was also feeling fresh and I have an easy weak with no big lifting next week. The benches went smooth, using the wave loading is a new technique for me but it seemed to work OK. Now I am off to the Dells for a weekend of playing.

Just catching up on things... #365 DL is a nice pull! Congrats. #400 can't be that far behind.

Thanks Guys. Jim I almost took the Packer's for my Suicide Pool but went with the easy play and New Orleans. Their fine play cost me a shot at $1200.

Tuesday November 20 5:00AM Scheduled Lower Body Day

Straight sets with 90 seconds rest

Squats 12@205# 10@225# 10@225# 10@225# 5@275#

Stiff Leg Deadlifts 12@135# 12@135# 12@135#

Good Mornings 12@115# 12@115# 12@115#

Super set with 2 minutes rest

Standing Cable Crunch Facing Away 12@100# 12@100# 12@100#
Standing Cable Crunch Standard 12@170# 12@170# 12@170#

10 Minutes of walking at various inclines 3.8 mph 5 minute cool down

Felt good to get back in the gym and get in a solid session. Two changes for the future, lose the Cable crunch facing away which didn't seem to work much and hit the cardio before lifting or skip it on leg day. Tried several times to pick up the pace but the hamstrings were not permitting it. All else went well.

Wednesday November 21 5:00 AM Scheduled Upper Body Session with Trainer

Straight sets with varied rest breaks

Bench 12@140# 8@185# 5@240# 1@275# 3@225#

Standing Military Press 12@85# 10@85# 10@85#

Incline Lat Pull 12@60# 12@75# 12@95#

CG Bench 12@125# 12@125# 9@125# no rest followed by Tri Ext 10@60#

Overhead Incline Cable Curls 12@90# 12@90# 12@90#

Cable Cross 12@40# 12@40# 12@45#

The benches went well again today I needed an assist with the first few inches on the 275# but got 3/4 of the lift on my own. I was also able to get off the first 6 lifts at 185# with no assistance. I think if I would have gone a few less I might have been able to get the first lift at 240 up with full ROM. First time for the incline lat pulls so the weight was somewhat expiermental, could have gone 95 for all sets.

Monday November 26 5:00 AM Scheduled Intervals and Core workout.

Treadmill Intervals 10 minutes various walking and running splits/ 12 minutes of hillclimb intervals at various inclines/ 2 minute CD 1.61 miles 275 cals

Super Sets with 2 minutes rest
Low to High Woodchoppers Left 20@40# 20@40# 20@40#
Low to High Woodchoppers Right 20@40# 20@40# 20@40#
Alt Twist Swiss Ball Crunches 20 20 20

Seated Cable Crunches 15@90# 15@90# 15@90#
Full Crunches on Bench 15 15 15

It has been awhile since I did any intervals and I felt like it this AM. I was dead after the first 10 minutes so I switched over to the hillclimbers to finish. Following that up with the triple set of woodchoppers and ball crunches which further showed me that I have slipped quite a bit over the last couple weeks of slothdom. Hopefully it is relatively clear sailing for the remainder of the year. Just a few blips for parties which shouldn't be too bad if I can stay out of the bars. Hopefully I will get some assistance on that front from a certain cute redhead I know.
