True Life: I Want to Get Swole II
I'm just coming back from a little rotator cuff problem and have lost quite a bit of strength so I'm just going to be getting back into lifting and eating like a bodybuilder. My goal is to compete in a bodybuilding competition either this winter or spring depending on when and where I can find one.
I am going to be doing Max-OT style workouts 5-days a week throughout the summer, probably going down to around 3-days a week during the school year while trying to get in about 5 days of cardio a week year round. As far as diet is concerned, for the next month I will be focusing on staying clean while eating 5-7 times a day.

Good luck on the training Bobby! Since you've had rotator cuff problems, will you be incorporating some RC work in so you don't have future problems?

Hey, welcome back, Robert. Hope your school year went well. Good luck with reaching your goals. I'll be interested to follow your progress to the competition. Go get 'em.
PS. You can have your old job back keeping Ninja in line if you like! :p

Steve-O: I plan on incorporating rotator cuff work in on most upper body days ala "Cracking the Rotator Cuff Conundrum," by Cressey.
K-Court: Keeping ninja in line is a full-time job, I'm not sure if I'm ready for that kind of commitment. I'll let you know thanks!

Hey Bobby. That is fantastic that you want to compete in bodybuilding. I wish you luck with it.
That being said, you mentioned that you're JUST coming off a rotator cuff injury. What was the injury? I only ask because after seeing what your upperbody days look like, I would say that it's less than decent.
I see ALOT of internal rotation exercises and ONE movement that promotes external rotation.
Also, for someone with a rotator cuff issue, GM's probably aren't optimal either (atleast not for someone coming off of an injury).
Granted, I don't know the extent of the injury, so I apologize for making any general assumptions. I just feel that you could structure things a bit more effectively.
