1x5x135
1x5x185
1x5x205
1x3x225
1x1x245
1xFx255 - Huh?
1x1x255
3x3x225
Squats
1x5x135

Happy Birthday!
Not a bad workout, either!

9/28/06 - Full body DE
Dynamic stretching and mobility - 10 minutes
*Workout*
Flat bench throws
3x12x115
Explosive bent over rows
3x12x95
Snatches
2x10x95
Hang cleans
1x10x95
Speed deads
5x5x185
Speed squats
5x5x185
Lunges
3x10x105 each leg
EZ bar curls
3x10x75
Tricep rope extensions
2x15x60
1x20x60
I really like doing the explosive lifts. On the bent over rows, I started with a supinated grip, pull, release, switch to pronated grip, lower, pull, release, switch to supinated and so on. I nearly dropped the weight a couple times on the last set. The snatches were excruciating... Mr Pukey made an appearance after the 2nd set (shouldn't have had that chicken burrito before I went to the gym) so I switched to hang cleans for the last set.
Side note... while I was doing the cleans, my workout partner paid me a nice, unsolicited comment. "Damn dude, I hope my back looks as thick as yours does when I'm doin those..."

Steve,
I hope the birthday didn't wipe you out.
Your lifts look good. Pretty strong for a mere child of 29.

Good workout. Took just over 90 minutes. Drank a quart of whole chocolate milk during my workout for energy. But by the time I did my last shrug, I was totally wiped out. Taking my shirt off in the locker room was a challenge...
Had a total dork moment on my way to the locker room. On Sunday nights, the basket ball court is reserved for volleyball. There were a few people in there playing, including an incredibly got girl I've seen around the gym a few times. As I walked past the doors to the BB court, the ball comes flying out. I reached out and grabbed the ball without breaking my stride. So I toss it back, but the ball hits the top of the doorway and bounces right back to me - nearly hitting me in the face. All the people playing volleyball laughed, my workout partner laughed, and several people on the weights laughed. Heck, I got a good chuckle out of it. If only my future baby momma hadn't seen it...

Hahaha, there's no better way to humiliate yourself then messing up a throw in front of a group of people.
Nice workout, though!

Nice work Steve. Whenever I see that volume of calf presses you do, my own calves start to twitch!
"...future baby momma..."??? You crack me up, bud.

I'm gonna have a hell of a time reaching my 405 goal by Halloween! I pulled 380 a little while back, but I failed at 365 three times yesterday! I think I need to stay away from the liquor and other extracurricular activities for a while. I'm sure the weekend splurges and excessive alcohol consumption over the last 30 days has not helped...
Note to self - just say no!

Haha, 3 foot? Nice!
I failed at 365 the other day too, I guess the race is on! But you've got a major advantage having pulled 380 before, this is all unchartered territory for me. I'd like to pull 4 plates by January 1st.
