Ha, 3 reps at 165 on the hang cleans and 3 sets of 2 at 225 on the bench counts as not 'feelin it today'? You fucker.

9/5/06 – IPV full body

Dynamic stretching, mobility, and foam roller = 10 – 12 minutes.

*Workout*

PL style squats
3x15x205

Conventional deads
3x15x205

Calf press on leg press sled
3x30x485 (full ROM)

Decline BB bench
3x15x135

Neutral grip lat pull down
3x15x110

Military presses
3x15x60

Great workout! Left the gym completely smoked. Although next time, I think I'll throw some bent rows in too. Squats were well below parallel, and I bloodied my shins on deads again.

Couple interesting things happened in the gym tonight. After my last set of deads, this guy walks up to me and commented on my squats and deads. He said he'd never seen anyone do that many with proper form. We shot the shit for a few minutes, then I commented on how I rarely see anyone use the cages for their intended uses. He was like, "Yeah, I know!" Then turned around and did a couple sets of... curls! Ahahaha!!! Cracked me up! Turns out, he's a trainer at my gym... go figure.

There was quite a bit of eye candy there too. I found myself strangely attracted to... a midget! Now, she wasn't an oompa-loopa midget or anything. She looked like a regular person, just in smaller proportion. Just under 4 feet, but she was cute! And in college! A hot midget in a sorority... it just felt... wrong... but I can't help it. Little people need love too!

Awww you got a crush on a midget, you best be careful going out with her, anyone from a far may think you're a pedo!

I had a similar experience with the trainer today, we were talking about the towel/thick bar and he said; 'you probably don't notice it as much as you would on other exercises...like curls' Hahahha.

Great workout, I hope to be able to rep that weight for 15 reps soon!

I had that pedo thought too... I think that's what makes my attraction to her feel so wrong! But imagine all the stuff you could do with a 75 pound hottie!

9/8/06 - DE day

Dynamic stretching and mobility work.

*Workout*

BB bench press throws on smith machine
3x10x115

Ballistic reverse pushups on smith machine
3x10xBW

Speed curls
3x10x75

Ballistic tricep pushdowns
3x10x50

Most DE days up until today have just been trying to move the weight as fast as possible on the concentric phase... today was actual ballistic moves where there was full grip release (on bench and reverse pushups anyway). Moving the weight fast enough to actually throw it was tough! The bench pretty much turns into an entire upper body exercise, cuz you gotta use pretty much every pushing muscle to get the weight to fly... same on the r. pushups - every pulling muscle was engaged.

I kinda like these! I prolly shoulda done legs, but ran short on time as we took measurements and pics.

I'm gonna clean up my bulk a bit... sitting at 16% BF and don't want it to get any higher. All other measurements show some improvement over the last set done in early July.

What would be awesome is doing a ballistic workout with a midget! Midget throws, speed squats with a midget on my shoulders, squat thrusts over a midget...

Keep your promiscuous night time activities out of your log, thanks!
