12-23-06:

Squat test day:

worked up to a good deep 245x1

then

275x1 (cut this one a bit high)

i keep gming the weight up as i squat it and it gets heavier. I only seem to get bent over when i reach the hole and the weight pitches forward.

Not exactly the weight i was expecting, but i have made leaps and bounds in progress since the start of the year, struggling with around 155.

More full ROM squats. more full squats above 80-90%.

I know you probally wont do this, but I would try some low rep, high set days (10 x 3 etc). Tons of practace with a heavier weight on your back.

Im sure that you are strong enough to squat 315+.

Congrats on upping the weight even if it's not what you wanted. It will come around. I'm going to have to go with Frank on this one. Add in some higher rep stuff....drop sets. I think they have helped me out a ton when it comes to the squat and deadlift on this New Rules of Lifting Routine. The Jury is still out on the benching portion.
