Sorry, Og...no can do.

Elliptical Intervals
26 minutes total
5 minute warm-up
10 intervals, 45 seconds (level 12) with 1 minute recovery (level 6)
4 minute cool-down
The stationary bike was being used. But this was a decent leg workout all the same. At least it didn't bother my knee, which seems to be getting better.
Now, I'm kinda worried about the tendonitis in my elbow - as far as being ready to jump back into HGM next week. I may have to take another week off, which will really piss me off.
But that good bike news is making me happier. I still haven't posted the details in the other forum. This weekend...

Swim
1000 meters total
My old swimming buddy was in town and glad to get back into our unique pool. Didn't seem like a day for drills, so just focused on my form.

Bike
Distance: ~14 miles
Time: ~45 minutes
OK - I haven't gotten around to posting the pictures yet, but I got a real road bike!
My former neighbor and swimming buddy just bought himself a new triathlon bike and sold me his 9-month old road bike, complete with Look pedals, shoes, cyclocomputer, seat bag and tools. It was a great deal (kind of a no-name bike, at least not a name that I know - DAWES) that I couldn't pass up.
Getting going while 'snapping' in the shoes was tricky. But, what a fun ride! I promise I'll post on the biking forum soon.

Bike
Distance: ~14 miles
Time: ~45 minutes
(forgot to start the computer which will now tell me all this stuff so easily!!! )
I've got to get up to speed on snapping the shoes on the pedals. This ride includes a left turn at a busy intersection where I will almost always have to stop and start. I had to just pedal the turn with the right shoe not snapped in.

Congrats on the road bike! Sounds sweet!
I can't go very far in my place until I hit intersections. I feel your pain, even if I don't have clipless pedals, I guess I only half feel your pain.
Og.

Sorry, bud. June is a very busy month for me at work and I'm in the middle of a huge project which has to work flawlessly by July 1 (I'm a systems analyst, or programmer). Plus we had company over the weekend, today is my son's 15th birthday and we have more company (and I haven't felt well since yesterday). Whew...
I'll get the pics as soon as I can Og.
Re. HGM. My right elbow is still not 100% so I'm not lifting at all again this week...may be longer (actually my left elbow is also sore). I really feel that doing dips and pullups and rows 2-3 times a week for 6 weeks caused this problem (maybe I had form issues to make things worse?)...I'm not very happy about it. I'm thinking I will either move on to the second phase of HGM or try something else once I get healthy again. In the meantime, I need to get back in the pool plus enjoy my new wheels.

Swim Intervals
1000 meters total
200m warmup
6 intervals ~ 50m, recovery ~50m
1 sprint 100m
100m cooldown
Notes
Both elbows are still sore...no upper body work for me. I should get my ass to the gym and do squats and deads though! Hoping to find some time this weekend to go for a nice long ride on my new bike. Hopefully I can get some pics this weekend...the thought of Og gnashing his teeth together waiting for my bike pics is weighing heavily on my conscience.
Work is a killer right now...working some this weekend and the next three weeks will be intense!

Hope work isn't killing you to bad! Hopefully it is the only reason you aren't logging

Definitely been out of touch for a few days and don't have much time now. Thanks for the encouragement guys. Og, don't give up on me...I will post those pictures...eventually! Haven't been to the gym in 3 weeks! Haven't run for 4 weeks! A lot going on at the moment, but this morning I managed:
Bodyweight workout - 3x10
Squats
One-legged airball deadlifts (felt and looked really stupid)
Pushups
Reverse Crunches
I think I'll be ditching HGM...haven't figured out what to do instead. The elbows are still a little sore, but they didn't bother me while I was doing the pushups this morning (I'm feeling it a little now). I'll definitely be back in the gym on Monday doing something! Maybe I'll retire this log...stay posted.
Have I said this month..."You guys are all great!"
