Thanks Buster, I am just trying to maintain muscle mass for the next 15 or 16 days then I am jumping into my swim training.

Shakes are tasting as good as ever today.

I had a handfull of almonds on wednesday so I went over a little bit. No biggie. Too bad I won't look my best for the summit. But what can I do? The knee injury doesnt help either. But I feel good and I am excited!!

Todays workout:

Dips: 10 x 3
Rows: 10 x 3
Lateral Raises: 3 x 8
Calf Extensions: 3 x 6-8
Biceps/Triceps exercises: 1 set each 6-10 reps
Ab exercise: anything goes

Really tired after the workout. Didn't get much sleep. Most likely won't get much tonight. But its all good. Packing plenty of Low Carb Grow for the trip to Little Rock. And fish oil, cant forget that.

BFG, I really wish you were going. For some reason I thought you were. Maybe I am just confused. We will meet at next years summit and untill then we will be able to talk during the FitCast.

The knee is ok. Not great, hurts to walk long distances but I will tough it out this weekend.

Having trouble sticking to the diet while at the summit. I will be sticking it to a T today. Still want to do 3 more weeks of it before I get in the pool for swim training.

Sore from fridays workout. I wasn't suppose to workout according to the program but I couldn't pass up working out with all the forum mumbers.

AHHHh More Bad NEWS!!!

After returning from Little Rock yesterday my knee felt like someone stuck a nice jagged knife in it. Not pleasent. So I headed back to the E.R. Now the diagnosis is that there is a partial tear in the petella tendon. So I walked around all weekend with a partial tear. Not too smart. So looks like no running or b-ball for a month or more. I am getting a scope done later this week to look at the damage.

No big deal though, still had a great time.

So looks like I will be extending the V-Diet another 3 weeks. I want to get as lean as possible for when I begin training for swimming. I will also contiune the same workout again just with minimal leg work.

Too bad about the knee. It was great to meet you, though.

Let us know what the scope turns up, okay?

are you doing any swimming at the second? if so stick to the crawl as it places less stress on the knee and will not aggravate the injury (breast strike was banned when I damaged my ACL and MCL)

Kevin,
If you were in any pain over the weekend, it was never evident. You are one helluva good natured soul. It was really great to meet you. I hope the prognosis on the knee is good and that you recover soon.

Thanks John,

While we were at JP's gym I was good because we didn't move around much. Basically stood or we were seated. It was really bad when we were walking back and forth from dinner. And at dinner I had to keep my knee at a 90 degree angle and no straight. So that didn't help.

I got 2 tubs of the metabolic drive coming tommorow and 6 more on wednesday. So I should have enough to get me through the whole 4 weeks. I plan on taking in 9 scoops a day.

Holy crap, 9 scoops per day!

Kevin: I never knew you were hurt. You sucked it up well. We would have tolerated a little whining (but not much LOL).

So how's the Vdiet progress? What the latest on that? How were your results?
