I mixed it up a little this morning. I added some side planks and did a little more between set work. My diet has been solid. I'm down 3 lbs over the last 2 weeks which has come off the abs amking them jump out. I'm still 3 weeks from Vegas. I think next week I'm going to do some serious eating so that I don't get to skinny. I need to plan it out. If I get to it this week end I'll post a pic.

On another note my tricep is getting better every week. It's about 85-95%. I'm going to avoid working it for another week and then get back at it.

Good news on the triceps. The workout is looking good. And screw you on the abs, man.

Healing up, loosing fat, popping abs, and completing tough workouts - it doesn't get much better than that!

The real gym has opened. Wow...huge. A lot of the things that you guys are always talking about as far as moving around makes sense. I almost need to plan a route to machine to get the supersets working.

As a result of the gym opening my workout wasn't a tight as I like. It took a long time. The good news is that I think I'll be ready to try putting light weight on the triceps Wednesday. I'm ready to start gaining some strength.

Went back to the gym today and took the wife. She is going to be doing the same ab program and I wanted to walk her through it.

I think it would be good for her to do an ab program because she had some abdominal surgery over the winter and her abs are shot. I think she needs to get those in order quickly. I'll also get her on a strength program. It just depends on her constitution. I don't want to burn her out.

Glad to hear the Mrs is interested in the gym, Gabe. Now you guys can talk about the "funny people at the gym" during dinner.

She wants to be on a weight program as well. I'm thinking TBT unless some one has a better suggestion. As long as I show her the exercise I think she'll do it. Her biggest fear is being a girl in the weight room. I think we can get past that with a little familiarity.

I remember when I first walked in there. I thought I was the only one that was clueless. Now the more I study the more I realize that most of us are clueless.

Today I just went in and did some cardio. I also wanted to put a little more strain on the tricep and see how it held. It came through good. I feel about 95% not yet 100% but good enough to get back to work on Friday or Monday.

15 minutes on the stationary big at a 10. I kept it to about 80 RPM's on the hills pre-set workout.

B1: Bench Dip 3 x 12 @ BW
B2: Back Extensions 3 x 12 @ 25

I'm a little more pessimistic than that. One day makes her on the entrance ramp to the loop.

I'm trying. I think she would enjoy the challenge of being a woman among boys. She is much tougher than I am.

Nice bench considering the sore tricep. Get that puppy back up to speed and let's see what you can do

Today I minimized the BS work. I was pressed for time. I think I'm ready to hit it hard on Monday. The ab work has been nice and served a purpose but it's time to go. If you noticed that my crunch weight is going down you are right. 2 things. One I thing the back extensions I did yesterday worked the same area and 2 I am working on better form which means less weight for me.

The weight went up easy. It might have been from all the rest. I look forward to getting back and working it.

I took a day off from the gym. I was having trouble sleeping and I got up way to early. It made me feel like crap. I'll hit it again tomorrow. I'm going to calibrate a new program and get ready for Monday.

Glad that you are back to 100% I think I would go crazy doing that much direct ab work. I am interested to see what the new program has in store.

It looks like I'm going to give ABBH2 a shot. I've always responded well to Waterbury's stuff and no one can find me a link to the Jason Feregura (sp?) workout.

You should try a couple of weeks. It has really made the abs pop. Time open the jar of peanut butter. This daddy needs some weight.
