Can you do my taxes? :p

Sometimes I think the mental exhaustion of long hours at work is harder to fight than real physical exhaustion.

I'm going to have to find time to do my own!

I hear you on the mental exhaustion. Next week it looks like I'm going to be working in the office. I think it'll be a good idea to hit the gym before work because I'll have time, as opposed to working at a client's place. I am just exhausted after 10-11 hours of thinking and staring at a computer.

26JAN08

9 mile run
1:14:58 (8:20 avg pace)
---
Absolutely miserable run. I ran at the big YMCA downtown on the indoor track. It was nice not to have to run on the treadmill or in the snow, but today my legs feel like I ran a marathon. I can't believe this kicked my ass so much. Check out my crappy splits:

mile 1 (8:16)
mile 2 (7:57)
mile 3 (8:07)
mile 4 (8:17)
mile 5 (8:24)
mile 6 (8:25)
mile 7 (8:26)
mile 8 (8:27)
mile 9 (8:34)

I'm glad the race is still 3 1/2 months away.

I imagine the frequent turning during indoor runs slows down your time. Hopefully you'll get some warmer weather this week.

Better get your runs into today (and hopefully one yesterday) while it's in the 40's. It's supposed to be a whopping 17 tommorow - that'll make the nuts hide for cover during a run!

So.... Uh..... I am pretty impressed with that run especially given the colder weather conditions and this being the first time you ran off treadmill for awhile. I always do more poorly on a run after running on the mill for a long while.

Oh, this is strange. I didn't know you actually lifted weights, Jim.

Wow, the world's turned upside-down! Next thing you know, Nick will have a girlfriend...

Nice workout, Jim. Welcome back to the land of the weights.

After a month I thought you would need a Witch Doctor to raise this puppy from the dead. I did see him drop in to the sports forum a while back.

He is most likely working on a new love child with some office girl by now.
