12JAN08
8.22 miles
1:05:34 (7:59 avg pace)

02JAN-11JAN08
various distance treadmill runs and one very cool 6.6 mile run on the campus of Notre Dame.

Well, I'm back from training. I can't believe I wanted to get back to Michigan. My assignment down in South Bend got screwed up so halfway through fifth day of an expected five-day trip I was extended to the end of the week. No big deal really- I was able to show them my flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. I have my schedule for the next month and a half or so. All local audit engagements- no road trips for me! Of course, everything could change at the drop of a hat.

Sounds like they've thrown you right into the thick of it -- that's great! And it looks like you're able to handle some longer runs pretty nicely as well.
Welcome back, but don't tempt me with a sig. line like that...

They sure have, Jeff. Last week was so intense. I was overwhelmed many times with everything they were teaching. As for the running, I'm hoping your right. I will be working long hours but I really am sticking to my goal of running a 1:45 at the River Bank 25k. My other goal right now is getting my weight back to 175ish.
You're right about the sig. As sick as I got with CE, I really shouldn't tempt... I'm going to change it.

Dangit, I missed the sig line. And apparently the explanation of the love child as well...

His sig line was "I support tuition credits for children of illegal immigrants."
Or something like that.

Exactly my stance. And how I think everyone should drive shoebox size cars made out of recycled toilet paper that run on windpower.

Hey, do you know where I can get one of those?
These $600 and $700 per month gasoline bills are killing me.
Nice run in the slush!

Glad your back and that your internship is going well. I've heard nothing but good things about that firm.

Thanks. It's going great. Today was my first day after training. Wednesday I head out on my first audit engagement. I'm admittedly a bit nervous.

4.2 mile run

I felt fast tonight, I just didn't run that fast. It was windy and snowy and the roads/sidewalks were slickery.

And still nothing about the love child. This log needs a shake up!
