Hey, everyone. I'm still runnin! It's just been a crazy, hectic past couple weeks with the end of the semester, work, holidays, with my daughter was in town. Now I'm in South Bend, IN, training for my new internship. This is just an awesome experience. I am so excited to work for this firm I can't explain.

I want to take this time to thank everyone who has posted in my log over the past couple years. Your support has been invaluable, and I couldn't have gotten through all of the tough stuff I've faced without you. As it is, I think it has come to the point that I need to close this log. First off, it will just be one more thing right now that I don't think I will be able to keep up with. But, more specfically, I don't think I can continue to support the jpfitness forums due to some of the opinions expressed in other parts of this site. They are so in conflict with my beliefs that I can't even take them with a grain of salt. I hope you can all accept this.

Thanks again to all. I wish everyone the best in their endeavors. Many of you know my contact info and I sure hope to stay in touch.

Jim, I certainly would hate to see you leave the forum. I hope you will reconsider, even if you aren't able to maintain your training log like you have in the past given the new demands of work, etc. And the Current Events forum doesn't even "exist" anymore.

If you do leave, are you posting on any of the Running forums? I hope you will at least check in here. Please PM me your current e-mail address if you definitely decide to abandon all of your friends here at JPF and leave us out here in the cold, cruel, dark Winter! :p

To echo Dave, I would hate to lose touch with you, Jim. I've enjoyed your posts, your encouragement and your camaraderie. If you are serious about leaving JPF, please send me your contact info as well.

My first post must have vanished, so I will try it again.

Jim, Enjoy your semester off and the new job. I hate to see you leave but as they say "A mans gotta do what a mans gotta do". If you sign up on a runners forum to track your new training let me know so I can check up on you now and again. Or just PM me and send your E mail address so I can drop you a line and give you some crap once and awhile. Thanks again for your support and advice over the past year and good luck with what the future brings.

Oh, man... it was all those Jeff Gordon jokes, wasn't it?

This internship sounds like such an exciting opportunity and I wish you well. But I'd hate to lose touch with you, too, Jim. Please pm me your info. And thanks for the encouragement and all the fun we've had here.

Don't leave, Jim! Not after I told you about our love child!

Ditto about CE. There are some real idiots on this site, but the other 95% is good stuff. I understand about the time factor in keeping up a log, but don't quit posting entirely.

Ok, you HAVE to come back now. You have some explaining to do

Honestly, you didn't leave because of the CE forum did you? Hell, some of my views make Kucinich look conservative and even I get uncomfortable with the one-sidedness in those threads.

Jeff, likewise. And I'm Canadian!

And I agree about the "love child" thing. Someone's got some 'splainin' to do!

I wonder if certain people in CE even realize how alienating they are.

And no, nobody will know the details of Jim and I's lovechild!

PS - Dennis Kucinich's wife is smoking hot. I nominate her for first lady.

I think we have to keep this log going until Jim comes back ... I wonder if there's ever been a log without a logger before??

km .... I think we need a pic of potential first lady ....!!!
