Thanks, everyone. It feels really good to be starting a job in my new chosen field. Now just waiting on one for the winter semester.

08OCT07
AM workout
pushups 1 x 50
2 mile run
15:40 (7:50 avg pace)
PM workout
pullups (5 sets max effort with 90 seconds rest):
12, 8, 7, 5, 4 (last week 10, 7, 7, 5, 5; increase of 2 reps)
---
My foot felt good enough to run this morning. I've done a lot of stretching and massaging and rolling in the past couple days. I think that has really helped. I'll do some more as I study tonight. However, the pace killed me! It was hot, but I was huffing and puffing as I finished!
Tonight's pullups session felt good. I'm liking that I'm seeing continual increases.

Those pushups continue to amaze me, Jim. I really can't imagine doing 70 in one go. Sweet.
Big congrats on the internship too!

Impressive work on that pull up program, I still think you could use a cute 20 something on your back to add resistance.

I doubt there'd be ANY resistance to a cute 20 something on his back, GG!

At least you're consistent in your "stay in your age bracket" advice.

I know some women who'll take that "something" all the way to, oh... menopause or thereabouts.

11OCT07
pushups
1 x 50
1 x 60
1 x 50
---
That's all I did today. I skipped class to volunteer this morning and after my accounting class this afternoon and meeting tonight, we grabbed a beer. I need to go to bed because I have another interview/firm visit tomorrow. Oh, and speaking of such, I got a message today from another firm requesting a second round of interviews. Not the firm I'm super set on, but one of the Big 4.
On the subject of volunteering, because I'm not running the GR Marathon this year, I will be working it. Both the big race on Sunday and the children's race the day before. I've never done this before so I'm really excited to be there.

I really try to not be wishy-washy. It just happens sometimes.
