Jim looks like you had a great time at the BBQ. Why and the hell would you drink a bottled Margarita? Couldn't find a beer in brewtown?

P.S. Wilbur was the owner of Mr. Ed since you kids most likely haven't seen the show except for reruns.

That's right! I remember now. Wilbur was the pig in Charlotte's Web. (I think.)

As for the margarita, I don't know. At the time beer just didn't sound good. I was really tired and dehydrated after cooking. Plus, it was MGD and Miller Lite that were being served- not really my favorites.

Today we're headed up to the Green Bay area for a day of outdoor stuff- tubing, batting cages, etc. etc.

Miller Light gives me an immediate headache and bloat. MGD is alright.

Do the cages have the targets to get a free round?

Well, we're back in MI for a couple days. We left Milwaukee at 10:00 last night and rolled in about 4 this morning. 4 hours and 45 minutes is a pretty good time for the trip. Hopefully I'll be able to muster up some energy for a run later if the weather's not oppressive.

I can't believe how fast the week went. We didn't get nearly all the things done we had hoped to. We were going to go to the zoo and the state fair and a Brewer's game but just didn't have the time. I also wanted to meet Gregg for another beer but just couldn't squeeze it all in.

I agree with you on the beer, though I've become somewhat of a beer snob and generally avoid the mega-beers. As for the batting cages, nope, no targets. I did do better than I expected though. I don't know the last time I swung a bat but jumped into the slow baseball cage and went right to town. Then I tried the fast cage. Not so hot for the first round but I began to catch up the second time through. It was a lot of fun.

I wonder how that 1000 pound pig would've tasted?

Thanks, Gregg. We went tubing on the Wolf River and then went to Bay Beach Park (I think that's the name) in GB. On the way home we stopped in Appleton to eat at a place called Good Company. Good place to eat if you're ever up that way.

Blah. I'm slow. I got up at 5am to do this. We went down to Kalamazoo to the Air Museum today and that was the only time I had to run. The trip was awesome. I'm fascinated by airplanes. Small wonder I went into the army.

I got notice tonight that our 6:30am flight was canceled. We now fly out at 11:30. I'm a bit peeved. If it weren't for the fact my aunt flies for Northwest, I'd never, ever use them again. I guess it is nice that I don't have to get up at 4 in the morning. Maybe I can squeeze in another run.

Sorry it's been a while since I've commented, but it looks like things are going well for you.

Although I'm not happy to hear about your troubles with Northwest. I'm using them to go to Minneapolis over Labor Day. They gave me a 15% discount as a "reward" for getting all their crappy ad emails. That's the only reason why I'm going with them, after they've canceled so many flights.

Thanks, Ralph. We are having a great time, though it's going by way too fast. As for Northwest, our flights went well once we got going. I'm a bit worried because Asia flies back to her mom's at the end of the month on Northwest.

Man, their is not a bit of flat ground around here. I was either going up or going down this entire run all on the side of curvy coutry roads so I'm very pleased with the pace. It's so cool to have gotten to run in such different locales this month.

LOL
We're in NH now. In fact, we're very close to Jeff's neck o' the woods. We were in Milwaukee for a week, back home for a couple days, and will be out here for a week visiting my mom's side of the family along with my brother and sister and their families. We have to be back in Michigan next week because my classes start up. Unfortunately, it will also be Asia's last week with me until Thanksgiving.

Hey, your PM is full! Give me a shout if you're up in Portsmouth. I work right across the river.

It's much more important that you got to spend some quality time with the family specially Asia. We can grab a brew the next time your in the area if time permits. Enjoy your time on the East Coast.
