Thanks, Vanessa. It's so nice just to have her around again, to hear her laughing and playing downstairs or to pick her up after school. As for her name, it's very appropriate because her mother and I met when we were stationed in Korea.

LOL
Maybe I shouldn't have been yelling at her to hurry up, either!

Hahahahahaha. I can picture you breathless near the end of an interval trying to get her to catch up!
It's good to read about your good times with Asia. She is obviously lifting your spirits!

3 giant sets of pushups/situps/BW squats each consisting of 20 reps while working on a new version of my resume. Ugh.

She turned nine in February. It sure does go fast. We got a few pictures done yesterday. I'll post a few when I get them sent to me. She's really starting to look like a young lady now. (And like her mom! )
---
25JUL07
4.3 mile run
32:29 (7:33 avg pace)
Despite the day off yesterday, my legs felt like lead pipes this morning.

Better to have the Ex's looks rather than the personality.

Don't I know it!
I had a chance to download the pictures yesterday and they totally slipped my mind. My next chance will be tomorrow.

4.3 mile run

This was one of my regular routes, however this time I ran it in the reverse direction. That always refreshes me so I felt a lot better today. Or, it could be because I didn't run as hard. Asia passed on going with me again. She's really into a jigsaw puzzle right now. I definitely know how that goes.

27JUL07
3.74 miles
stretch and foam roll beforehand (I sure needed it) and pushups (1 x 55)
1.37 miles to track - 11:16 (8:13)
4 x 400 with 90 seconds rest after each interval
lap 1 - 1:26
lap 2 - 1:20
lap 3 - 1:20
lap 4 - 1:20
puke, stretch, pushups (1 x 25)
1.37 miles to home - 11:10 (8:09)
---
I wasn't quite sure what to do this morning so I figured some intervals would break up the monotony of my regular routes. I'm used to 2 minutes of rest, so 90 seconds is a huge jump. 90 seconds is barely enough rest for me to go from gasping for air to labored breathing. Also, 1:20 is a bit faster than I was doing before. Maybe because I knew I was only going to do 4 I was able to run them faster. Awesome workout, though.
