Mary-Lou, You've been a huge blessing to me personally, And I'm quite sure a lot of people around here can say the same thing. We all get in slumps(i know this from personal experience) and we can find a way to work out of them ,for me motivation of other people, you being one, always helps. you have been a great inspiration for me on my log, so if there is anything I can do(PM me if you want) you holler girl and I'll be here!!!

ahhh the Foxtrot can be as wonderful as the Waltz.. imagine it dance to "You Give Me Fever" with very lonnng steps.. and turns that seem to never end.. on a ballroom floor where there are only a few couples.
Sadly it's true that very often the floor is too crowded by people who think it's the best time to get their new partners phone number or for dying couples to talk about who knows what. And they just walk around the room like zombies and block anyone who really tries to dance.
No.. forget the foxtrot.. your life can be freestyle to any music.. you just need to find the right song..
haven't heard Primal Screen "Rocks Off" yet..

Good plan to listen to your body. I know that I'm my own worst enemy sometimes when it comes to overtraining. As far as what to slow down...maybe shorten the hikes by 10 minutes or so? Or decrease the intensity of your activity slightly? Not sure...just off-the-top-of-my-head suggestions.

BUSTER.. yup.. BW.. I was going in that direction as well .. would actually be fun.. I'll let you know if i do that.. It helps to have suggestions.. to be more confident in what I choose.
FINBOY.. humm shorten a 5 hour hike by 10 minutes? Besides.. I want to do Mount Washington probably in June.. and that's an 8 hours hike.. Decreasing the intensity of the hikes might be good though.. I read all over the place that endurance athletes do alot of LILD (low intensity long distance) and I still do my hikes as if I was going for 30 mins.. yup.. I'll try to think of you on Friday.. maybe force myself to take some pictures..
Thanks guys for helping me think
