Mary Lou,
It's great to see you starting to squat and deadlift. Amazing exercises and I am sure you will conquer them.

Thanks MAHLER! and tonight.. I'll try to take your example about being careful when we've done quite a bit the day before.. my back is acting up again from this week-end.. I have a few more hours before I decide what I'll do tonight..

Default mini update..

There's a new session in group fitness classes that started this week and a changed my weekly time-table à little :

I Added Cardio Tae-Boxe and Energy Yoga... dropped the monday warm-ups, push-ups and dips . I changed the Cycling and Treadmill WUs to rowing.
I figure I'll be doing enough outdoor cycling and hiking in the warm seasons. Ialso changed the 60 mins Cardio on Saturdays to 40.. it wasn't realistic.
BASIC WEEKLY TIME-TABLE
Monday (back to back)
60 mins Group-fitness Buns of Steel
60 mins Group-fitness Cardio-Tae-Boxe
60 mins Group-fitness Energy Yoga
Tuesday
60 mins Ballroom dance class
Wednesday
12 mins WU rowing
60 mins strength WO
40 mins cardio ~ including HIITs
Thursday
20 mins stretching (I might change this to another Yoga class)
Friday
2 - 5 hours hiking
Saturday
12 mins rowing WU
60 mins strength WO
40 mins cardio ~ including HIITs
Sunday
Day off

Main thing I'm not sure about is if I should do my week-end WO on Saturday (day after hike, so might be tired, and likely to have DOMS on Monday, when it's tripple group fitness classes) or on Sunday (DOMS day from hike and day before tripple groupe fitness classes). But no real hastle.. I'll get used to what ever.. and will probably switch depending on what else I have planned on the week-end.

Well, that's a full plate. How long do you plan on following this routine for?

I really like how diverse your workouts are. Everything from ballroom dancing to hiking to gym time. Keep it up!

thanks guys

OLDGUY the group fitness program changes on July 2nd, so probably go un
'til then. But within the program I'll change the Weights Work-Out around mid-may to a more hiking/backpacking oriented WO.

ODB the weeks go by real fast with such variety!

FINBOY.. to some.. to others I just seem crazy

Jealousy is as good a substitue as any, for not trying. Let them be jealous while you keep on smiling.

I seem to be reading a lot of posts about losing momentum. It must be spring fever.
