Geebus, Nick.
You're 21.
You have the time.
You have the energy.
Find it.
Use it.

I'm 20
I haven't had a day off since May 20.
I don't have any energy.
I lost it.
I can't use it.

Yay! Half a day off tomorrow!!!
Wednesday, June 14
Plate Squats
3x5 @ 25
Deadlifts
5x135
5x225
3x245
1x275
Shitx325
1x325
1x345
The 345 pull had somewhat of a rounded back. Probably because I can't realistically expect a 10 lb. increase every week
Close Grip Pushups
3x10
DB BOR
4x8 @ 45 (EH)
My movement plane is much higher with the DBs than the bar. I just noticed that today.
Lunges
3x12 @ 30 (EH)
Felt good to get a second leg exercise in again.
Planks
2x60 seconds
I'm stalling a bit here on these, most likely because I am not doing them on as much of a regular basis as I would like to. I need to bite the bullet and start busting my ass, even though I am working all of the freaking time.
Foam rolled and stretched before and after and I absolutely love how I feel when I get done. I can't believe how I lifted before I started rolling before workouts.

Ha!
I went swimming for the first time in a long time today. Felt great to jump off the diving boards and play basketball and not have to worry about work. Now I'm going to take a nap......

Thanks guys! It's no Mahlerland, but it's good to know that I still have some strength even with all of these corrective exercises and stuff.

Another day off today!!!!!
Wednesday June 21
Plate Squats
3x5 @ 25
Deadlifts
5x135
3x225
3x245
3x275
3x295
Close Grip Pushups
3x10
I think I can do 12 next time, my strength is really improving on these, while I'm stalling somewhat on conventional pushups.
DB Bent Over Rows
4x6 @ 50 (EH)
Lunges
3x10 @ 35 (EH)
Planks
2x60
ACK! Why can't I get 65 seconds?
Elbow is a tad sore on the outside today. I didn't pitch, so that really doesn't make sense.

IT LIVES!!!!!!!!
Well, I would have really liked to have kept up with beach muscles, but my summer schedule didn't allow that too. Now that I am back at school, I am getting more time to workout, and should get back to 3 days a week of lifting plus some running and what not.
The reason I am bumping this back from the dead, is that I am going to finally get to see my abs. I know I have said that a million times, but since I have my own place now at school, I can control what I buy to eat. I am taking out all processed carbs during the week, except for pre and post workout, and Sundays will be my cheat day, where I will eat anything I want. I have been doing a good job so far on the food intake, granted it has only been a week and a half, but I am confident I can really see some results. The weekends when I go home are going to be hard, but they won't be numerous or bad enough to knock me off track.
I am also going to work extra hard on getting rid of my imbalances so I can resume doing presses and back squats. I have started to see an ART specialist, and after that first treatment my shoulders felt better than they had in years. I also got Magnificent Mobility for my birthday, so with the help of that and a good core program, I should hopefully be back to normal fairly shortly.
Wednesday August 30
Front Squats
3x5 @ 115
This was a surprise. I did 20 lbs more than I was back in June, and I did it with pretty damn good form. That's definitely good news.
Lunges
3x10 @ 35 (EH)
Legs are fried
Neutral Grip Chinups
3x6
It had been a looooong time since I had done these and I paid the price
Close Grip Seated Rows
3x8 @ 150
Pushups
3x12
I don't know why I could only get 12 here.
Core booklet (I gotta find the name of this thing) from MH
OUT!

I never technically "quit." Just never got to do it as regularly as I would have liked.
Thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate it.

Wednesday September 6
Front Squats
5x5 @ 115
Ready to start going up on these considerably. The douchebag in the rack next to me-- who had terrible squat form and didn't even hit parallel-- kept staring at me, and even peeked over while I was at the water fountain to add up my weights. Yes, 115 isn't much, but as long as I get my ass down and the form right, I'm happy.
Lunges
3x10 @ 35
Neutral Grip Chins
3x6
The last rep was much better than last week.
Close Grip Seated Rows
3x8 @ 150
Pushups
3x12
Cable Woodchoppers
3x8 @ 80
Core Performance Essentials booklet. (I finally found the name.)
OUT!
