Re: the legs feed the wolf
Bamma> I KNOW, what a bitch right?! I'm going to have to start beating her more often so she learns to respect THE MAN!! Apparantly the twice a day just doesn't cut it any more...I blame myself really...I'm too soft...lost my edge. Well now she gets what's coming to her! ***all things said above this point are lies, she'd stab me in my sleep and then bitch at me untill I died***
rest> You guys are making me feel all self concious now! Here I am looking up to you fine specimens of manlyness and you're all getting there all "fly by the seat of your pants". You make me sick!
Sent the wifey out for some light bulbs and some 'tussin. Hopefully that'll knock the phlem loose, never even considered over the counter meds THANKS MARY!! Starting to feel human again. Not ready to fight the champ but starting to sleep good and not feel like I got hit by a truck! By next week I'll be 95% which is good enough for me! *rick flair* WOOOOO

Re: the legs feed the wolf
Gobbla that is a good amount of pushups in a minute. I ususally collapse after 45. At least you have a starting point and can go back when ever you like and see what kind of progress you have made!! Keep at it.....

Re: the legs feed the wolf
this is actually the worst I've ever done, lost 2-3 pushups and 17seconds or so from the run so really I got the pleasure of seeing how far I've fallen. I don't feel particularly bad about it right now, it was the best I could do. I failed on the pushups, started out too fast on the run, with the first 1\4mile being 10 seconds faster than pace...so after a decent lap 2 I was REALLY hurting for the next two laps. Can't sit out 1/3rd of the race, ya know?

Re: the legs feed the wolf
I always say that what makes a champion isn't the way he wins.. but the way he reacts to loosing. .. or to being in a bad period.
I'm sure you'll bounce back!

Re: the legs feed the wolf
The price was being sore as can be for two days! All worked out though, life is good.
Workout:
A1: Bench Press 3x8 144lbs
A2: Dumbell Row 3x8 55lbs
B1: Dumbell Fly 3x10 18lbs
B2: Barbell Row 3x10 100lbs
C1: Incline DB Press 3x12 45lbs
C2: DB Ext Rotation 3x10 7lbs
Forgot about the C series being 2 sets instead of 3 DAMNIT! Still working my way thru the weights. Still room for improvement, getting closer to the "not embarrassing to post" though.
Figured out a couple things in the past couple days.
#1. Diagnosed with "Runners Knee". Apparantly an imbalance in one way or another pulls my kneecap off track and it causes friction on my joint...leading to pain and annoyance. No real harm done. Keep doing what I'm doing. Life is good.
#2. Lentils are apparantly gods exlax. Been visiting the latrine waaaaaaaay to much. At first it was one of those cleansing things, then it turned to punishment for the evil that I've done to the world!

Re: the legs feed the wolf
you say :
"#1. Diagnosed with "Runners Knee". Apparantly an imbalance in one way or another pulls my kneecap off track and it causes friction on my joint...leading to pain and annoyance. No real harm done. Keep doing what I'm doing. Life is good."
I need a lesson here.. how do you live with "pain and annoyance" ? (my shoulder and elbow are getting "chronic"..)

Re: the legs feed the wolf
It's not really bad for the most part any more. The problem would get worse if I
A: didn't strengthen the muscles around the knee
B: did a lot of repition work
So it's deffinatly in the "ok" category for right now. I don't do things that piss it off and it doesn't cripple me. Everyday life we get along ok...mabey some pain if I sit still too long. But that's about it.

Re: the legs feed the wolf
A1: Chinup 3x8 +6lbs
A2: 1 arm mil press 3x8 44lbs
B1: DB Tri-Ext 3x8 27.5lbs
B2: EZ Bar Curl 3x8 44lbs
The chinups were way easier than I expected since I've been having trouble with them previously. The mil-press was harder than I thought it'd be so I guess it all evens out.

Re: the legs feed the wolf
Workout:
A1: Bench Press 3x8 155lbs
A2: Dumbell Row 3x8 50lbs
B1: Dumbell Fly 3x10 18lbs
B2: Barbell Row 3x10 111lbs
C1: Incline DB Press 3x12 45lbs
C2: DB Ext Rotation 3x10 7lbs
Ran ragged today. Trying to get things ready for the deployment...going thru two chains of processing is a bigger pain than one. Had to work by myself since the other guy hurt is back and was gone 90% of the day on top of it. The power went out at work and STAYED out so our whole office network came to a screeching hault, which I couldn't bring back up. Our "check engine" light came on...and the wife is feeling bad about that. It's fucking wonderful that it happens AFTER we buy new furniture. Could be a 10 dollar sensor, who knows. But it would have been a lot less nerve wracking 2 thousand dollars ago. Tommorrow I'll DEFFINATELY be on my own at work (meaning I can't leave the office unless absolutely necissary...like the 4 deployments coming back...aka a months worth of work in a day) and I'll get my nuts busted for not bringing the system back up. YAY!
On the positive side, I recieved my copy of Ian King's "How to design strength programs" AND had enough time to hit the bigger portion of it since we were dead in the water for 3 1/2 hours. It's kinda hit and miss. It really shows the variables...which is good. But the "how to place them" is really foggy. If you look surface level you can plug and play. Looking a little deeper it's a little more brain breaking.

Re: the legs feed the wolf
Hang in there, gobbla. Hope things work out for you tomorrow and that that "check engine" thing is nothing more than a lightbulb! Don't you hate the timing of this sort of sh*t. My f'ing brakes went on the van like a week before Christmas. And that was almost a year to the day exactly after my tranny crapped out. Dayum.
Looks like you had a great workout. You look like you're pushing pretty close to the same numbers as me on a lot of your lifts.
