Sorta like geese fly in formation, so the lazy ones can rest in the back?

it was my legs more than anything. the boobies hurt but the legs...mainly the glutes. I think I'm actually starting to USE my ass for good instead of evil and it's been bringing all sorts of unpleasantness. After the test is over with I think I'm gonna have to pay some special attention to Mr. Squat. Correct some of that!
Glad you like the blog. Just trying to spread a little sunshine.

1.5m run 12 minutes
Passed on the gym. still feeling really beat up. there will likely be an off week after next, I think I need it. Went out for the run and it just wasn't happening so I stopped. Probably could have lifted OK but figured if I was too tired to run I had no business lifting. Take a mulligan for this day and see what happens next week!

I think it'll be good once I find a balance. There was just a little too much "pushing myself" combined with sleep problems last week. Feeling pretty good about things overall though!
3m run. Untimed, good push. Felt waaaaaay better than the wed\fri runs. Looking forward to lifting tomorrow!

1.5m run 10:55
Push Press 5x3 @ 122lbs
B1: Sumo Deadlift 4x5@ 243
B2: DB Scarecrows 4x5@ 19lbs
C1: Single Leg Squat 4x5+ 27.5lbs
C2: Pullups 4x5 @ BW
ab circuit
Toes to sky 1leg bent x 20 PS
Cruch with legs in air x 20
Side raise x 20 PS
Situp x 20
1.5m run un-timed
***********************
Still feeling a little down. Still looking foward to next week being an off week! The first 1.5 was being a pacer for another guy. I felt like ass for the most part but got stronger as we went and did it easily. It makes me pretty confident of being around ten or less on a good day.
The weights went fine enough. I felt like I should have done better, but it was still a challenge. Right now I'm going to use the next couple of weeks to set up a baseline to use for a little while and just maintain the weight lifted. Push to improve on the track, leave the gym improvements on the back burner now that the strength is OK.

Geilenkirchen, it's a NATO base that houses the E3A. We're the "only multi-national E3 organization in the world". I'm not entirely sure what that means but we get told that every commanders call!
It's about 2 1/2 hours north of Ramstein. There's another of us running around here as well...can't think of the name though.

1.5 + 1.5 miles un-timed
baby steps. I almost feel like what some of the coaches talk about with an athlete kinda sucking (or not performing) 99% of the time and on "that day" they go out and rock the competition. It's not about being good all the time, it's about "that time". I'm feeling kinda shitty most of the time and don't "feel" like I'm putting out good numbers and efforts. Sitting down and doing the math though, most of my lifts are slowly but surely working up to PR levels. I'm running the 1.5 in respectible times at will so performance I'm doing pretty good on...it's the mind saying "more more more" that's getting to me.

Project lean out Day1. "We don't need no stinking carbs"
Depletion Day 1
Run Workout:
1 x 800m jog
8 x 100m sprint\walk intervals
1 x 800m jog
BW circuit x 3
Y-Squat x 15
Mountain Climber x 12
Pushup x 8
1 Leg Deadlift x 6
Burpee x 8
Squat-Thrust x 8
Food =
1,200 calories, 160g Protein, not much else
***************
Don't know if this is officially a "depletion" workout but I felt like I was going to pass out\throw up\die in that order. Going to try to hone the workouts a little bit to start hitting a little harder a little more often and keep the food 100% or damn close to it.
