naw dude, 10k is 6.4 miles, track is *normally* 1/4 mile, so you're looking at 26 laps.

the thing to keep in mind with that particular style of run is that you're not "running" for 6 1/2 miles. you're running for 1/4 1/2 a mile at a time, and then you do your obstical\wait on other people to do it. So you're actually going to get a fair amount of rest.

You'll get to that 1.5 mile goal in no time, Gobbla. It wasn't too long ago that you were posting stuff like just suddenly deciding to run 7 miles at 7:xx pace on a trail.

I like Alwyn's Holiday program a lot, but have never been able to keep it up when marathon training. He's way too evil!!

I think I'll get there if I stick with it. It's not like it's an impossible goal. The real "danger" in my world is either giving up or trying to make adjustments too early. I was *just* thinking about adding a long run. So I'm having performance troubles right now (really minor, mainly due to not going to bed on time ), and I want to add more work...dumbass.

We'll carry on for another month or so untill the weight lifting is back on track and then just see where things are and what needs to be changed, if anything. I was planning on doing my *re-test* today, but after 3 sleepless nights and our work "thanksgiving" lunch it's probibly not a good plan . Slept well last night, try to repeat that tonite. Do a run tomorrow and give it hell next week!

B2: DB Scarecrows 2x15@ 5lbs
C1: Single Leg Squat 2x15+ 22lbs
C2: Lat Pulldowns 2x15 @ BW

ab circuit
Toes to sky x 10
Cruch with legs in air x 15
side raise x 15 per side
thin tummy, cheek squeeze x 10 per side

ate a huge meal right before the gym. mp3 player crapped out...again...starting to see a trend develop. after the deadlifts I was wiped. got to the pullups and went "naw, not today" :p
