Basketball Night- good night. Got 6 games in and best of all Chet the Iranian was a no show tonight. All the regulars went out for a X Mas beer afterwards. On bad note, I did about 12 pull-ups between games and really feel it today. Hopefully the arnica gel or stretching or Alieve starts to help soon.

Monday 12/26/
5 Rounds: Stationary bike 1 mile and 50 sit-ups.
Got back from my holday trip to see my family at my dad's cottage in NE Pa. Only exercise I got there was chasing my beagle around on the frozen lake. I thought it would be a great place for him to run and the 3 to 4 feet natural drop would keep him penned in. Wrong, the little bastard cleared a chest high wall and took off down the road. Luckily there was almost no traffic this time off year. Eventually he allowed me to capture him, his Chrismas gift to me I guess.
My elbow is starting to feel better with the combination of Alieve, Arnica, stretching and a few days off. I'm going to forgo all upper body exercise this week to rest it some more. Hopefully it continues to heal.

Subbed Bench press 145 lbs for body weight. Tuesdays weight was 226.5 not typo 206.5 lbs. I scheduled an appointment for next Wednesday for a type of massage therapy for my elbow. Bill Hartman also suggested some exercises which I will start tonight.

Great time on the WO, Bill!!! It looks fun, except for the part where you run 1,600 meters. They're calling for rain tomorrow morning so I'll have to skip it, oh damn.
Good luck with the elbow rehab. Bill knows his stuff and will get you going in the right direction.

I hate long runs. That's anything over 1 mile for me. It't not hard, just boring to me. I did these on the treadmill with Celeberty Fat Club on tv. The new series starts this Sunday. I'll schedule my workout around that for sure. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Good job Bill. Either you speed up from Tuesday, or you really hammered out the bench press. Running gets better the better you get at it. At some point it becomes fun - I am not at that point right now. I have always hated the treadmill though.

No one has ever used the word speed and my name in the same sentence. The Bench press was pretty light so I moved through them pretty fast. I should do more here but benching does put some strain on this damn elbow.

P.S. - I should thank the surgeon who did my hernia surgery last spring for Saturday's deadlift.

Dead lifts and cleans were unbroken. I was trying to keep rest periods short and lifting alone so I did have breaks in set 5,6 and 7 in bench.
