Holy cow! 90 dips! plus all those pulldowns, too. That's an amazing amount work, Bill. My arms get tired just thinking about it.

My arms and shoulders were beat when I finished but really feel fine today. Now if that was a lower body workout I'd be sore for a week. I know that's a weak area for me, but I'm still sore for a few days after every leg workout. I guess if I keep at it long enough I'll get over it.

Basketball night

1:30 crosscourt. Too many guys and it gets worse in January when everyone makes New Year's resolutions. Gotta build my own dome.

Thursday 11/24/05

Four rounds for time of:
Run 400 meters
50 Squats

Time 16:30

Fueled by way too much turkey and not a little guilt I went as hard as possible on this one. Squats were all sets of 25 and done on treadmill to save time. Good hard quick workout.

You worked out AFTER your Thanksgiving meal?! That's dedication! Good job with the completion time, too.

Friday 11/25/05

Clean, Push Press, Push Jerk, Split Jerk 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-reps

115/120/125/130/135/140/145/15 0

Supposed to do 10 sets but felt somthing in my upper back. Maybe something to do with the 70 tires I helped change today on Black Friday, othe the 68 on Wednesday. God damn I love being busy but not to the point where I actually have to work.

Wow, what a lot of work. Is that two of each lift in each set?

Take care of that back. We already have too many folks nursing injuries around here.

It's actually one clean followed by one push press, one push jerk and one split jerk.

Monday 11/28/05

Started a workout on Sunday but aborted early. I'd like to blame the pulled back muscle, but I just wasn't in the mood.

Sets of 21-15-9

Deadlift 135 lbs
Dumbell Press 35 lbs each

Time 10:50

Walked 2 miles with the wife and dog before workout so running late. Kept the weight reasonable. This week will be 90 days of Cross Fit. I've decided that I need to watch my diet much more carefully and drop 15 lbs to 205 lbs. This would make many body weight exercises easier and probably be easier on my knees. I'll start posting body weight here with the goal of hitting 205 lbs by Feb 28th.

Bill, good luck on your goal.

You certainly are working hard enough so I suspect that by tweaking your diet you will be able to drop some weight.

Keep the pace high brother

Tuesday 11/29/30

220 lbs

Basketball night-1:30 full court. Ran out every trip down court, no walking. Felt really good. Cross Fit does build endurance.

Endurance IS fun !

Are you on a specific diet? 15 lbs until feb 28 is very reasonnable, you should have no problem there.

Nothing special, justing cutting out most of the junk. That should give me 500 kcals a day. It's just a matter of a little willpower which I seldom use.

I learned one thing tonight, dips are almost easy when you don't mix them with pull-ups or push-ups.
