Yep...he went with me. It's funny cause we did our two warmup sets of db rows/chest press and he came up to me and said, "one more set?"...I said no 3, that was the warmup...lol. He doesn't listen to me when I tell him to start out light...I told him it was a warmup from the beginning. Needless to say, it kicked his ass. He enjoyed it though. Think he's actually a little proud of how hard I work [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Problem with him getting to the gym is he works a lot and his schedule is screwy. He just left to go to work and I probably won't see him until morning. So he's usually pretty tired at night after working all day. He happened to have a few days vacation this week so we were able to go together.

Superset
Ab Curl-up (2x10) 5sec hold at the top
Side Plank (2x4 per side) held 10sec each side

Bird Dog (2x6 per side)
Plank (2x30 seconds)

HAHAHAHA...yes I took pics...can't see too much difference yet though, so I am only posting the ones where I can see some differences. I've completed 4 weeks of Turbulence Training so far. The tri's are really coming back..woohoo!

I'll post stats first. Changes are listed as compared to Day 1 of TT. I had a break of almost 2 weeks due to illness, so I think these numbers are great for having that interruption.

Height 5'8"
Weight 130lbs no change
BF% 19.2% down 1.2% [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
Chest 36" no change
Waist 29.25" down 0.25
Hips 38" (measure incorrect site last time)
Thigh 19.75" up 0.25"
Calf 12.75" down 0.25"
L Bi 10.875" up 0.625" [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
flexed 11.175"
R Bi 10.5" up 0.50" [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
flexed 10.875"

I seem to be heading in all the right directions [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Calves are the only thing I wish would have at least stayed the same if not gone up. Arms are doing awesome though, and legs are getting there. I need to go ahead and add more cals in again. I've been trying to stay around 2400. I'm going to go to around 2700-2800 and see what happens.

TT is working for me. It's works you hard, but I love it! I look forward to the next 4 weeks [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Posted the legs anyway...they don't seem to be much different except for the absence of bruises now..lol



I realize when I took the initial shots, I was slouching a little, but I can tell you no matter how I stood, that right tri never came out (that's the one I hadn't used in almost a year due to the shoulder).



I notice some changes in the middle here...looks like I've slimmed out a little. Might be a teeny difference in lats as well...if you use a magnifying glass..lol.

That's some difference! Big difference in the arms (you should be proud of those tris!), you're slimmer in the waist, and you look tauter overall. Can't believe it's been only four weeks.

TG, I can really see your tri's back and some slimming of the waist. Keep up the good work and keep on eating.

I'm surprised by your waist and hip measurements. Do you measure your waist at the narrowest part of your torso? Right below your ribs, I believe? I think the belly button measure is more abdomen, or at least according to mybodycomp.com

I've got a couple of inches on you on the thighs, would be happy to split the difference with you!

Measuring is sooo confusing to me, it can vary as much as the scale, so I don't know how to use it properly.

Thanks Cappy. Yeah, I measure at the narrowest part. I'm flat, but just wide I guess..lol. Maybe it doesn't seem like it cause of my height. What I was using as my hip measurement, was actually at the iliac. I didn't realize hip was more around the butt.

Wow.. great progress!

I'm doing CW's Perfect 10 workout right now.. & my whole body sores all the time, but i definitely get thicker, bigger, & more defined.

Started Stage 2 of TT today..yay. Oh my! Glad I only start this week with 2 sets...it worked me hard! Normally, I leave the gym with shaky legs. It's so weird, today my arms felt all like jello. I think it was from the elevated push-ups...I couldn't get through the last set of them.

General Warm-up (circuit x 2)

Specific Warm-up

BB Squat: 45lbs x 8, 45x8
Kneeling Elevated Push-ups: 8 per side, 8 per side

Workout (Supersets)

BB Squat: 65x8, 75x8
Kneeling Elevated Push-ups: 8 left side & 6 rt. side, 6 both sides

Smith Split Squat with back foot elevated: 50lbsx8, 50x8
DB Low Inlcine Chest Press: 20sx8, 20sx8

Ball Curl-up: 20, 20
Hip Extension of Ball: 20, 20

Like the new hair color. It works for you. And (not that I'm trying to get too flirty with a married woman...lol) that photo really shows off your eyes. They're striking.

That's a tough workout. How do you do the 50%-75% for the specific warmup sets with the elevated pushups? Or does it just boil down to extra sets? It's amazing the difference that elevating one hand can make, isn't it? Those always get to my arms, too.

I don't know on the warmup for the pushups...I just ended up doing full sets...I wonder if I should be doing something differently? I think that's why I couldn't get through all of my sets...cause it ended up being 4 full sets. Although in another week or two, maybe I will be able to.
