Re: TG\'s Log...Building a Better Booty, Booty, B-B-B-B Booty!
As much fun as leg work is I really enjoy working the shoulders and back. I've determined pull ups are my all time favorite.
My hats off to you for being able to maintain drive and focus on an almost leg only work out. At least at the end you'll literally be able to kick ass.

Re: TG\'s Log...Building a Better Booty, Booty, B-B-B-B Booty!
Thanks K. Diet is going well actually, except for yesterday when I was gone for about 8hours Doing about a 40/40/20 ratio and my cals are up on average to around 2200. Gaining some weight so it's all good
Thanks Deserve. I've always loved legs...but 3 times a week of JUST legs has been a lot..but I LOVE being back at the gym so it's worth it. Although I am really looking forward to build my upper body up again. I lost an inch on my bi's without working them. And yes, I will be kicking some ass soon!

Wow! An inch on the arms is huge. How long do you think it will take to get that back. I've been at it for almost 2 years and have only really put an inch on the arms.

Re: TG\'s Log...Building a Better Booty, Booty, B-B-B-B Booty!
To be honest, I don't think it will take all that long to put that inch back on, once I really start working them again. Maybe about 6 months or so. Hoping anyway

WHAT excess in the midsection?
How are the leg workouts feeling now? Not nauseaous anymore? Any more DOMS? Wobbly legs afterwards?

Re: TG\'s Log...Building a Better Booty, Booty, B-B-B-B Booty!
K, as soon as I eat a slice or two or two of pizza, or have an increase in simple carbs, it's there. Although, it does go away once I eat right. So there is my solution. Well, partly. I still need my legs to get bigger. Leg workouts are great, not nauseaous anymore. No more DOMS, just a little bit of soreness.
Deserve, I have pretty good genetics as far as my upper body is concerned. Lower body is so stubborn though. It takes me forever to build my legs...FORever.

Re: TG\'s Log...Building a Better Booty, Booty, B-B-B-B Booty!
I'm almost the reverse. My legs are ok even though my calfs could use some more work. I'm genetically skinny and I know it....blessing or curse. Probably a blessing.

Re: TG\'s Log...Building a Better Booty, Booty, B-B-B-B Booty!
I'm the same way, genetically skinny. It's a curse when trying to gain weight and muscle.
GHR on lat pulldown with rope down 2.5lbs on each set!..lol. I'm scared without a spotter..don't wanna make a fool of myself like the first time I did them.
42.5lbx10
42.5lbx10
42.5lbx10
42.5lbx10
DB SLDL - it was awesome doing these. Although I could have gone heavier with the weights, my shoulder wasn't letting me . I probably shouldn't have even used 25s but I just couldn't do any more super light sets...grrrr. But I may hold off on doing them again for a couple weeks...maybe..lol.
12sx12
20sx12
20sx12
25sx12
Hyperextensions
10lbsx15
10x15
10x15
10x15
Superset for abs (3 sets)
Reverse crunchx15
Crunchx15
Side crunchx15 each side
The gym is closed tomorrow and Friday for maintenance so I won't get back until Saturday.

Re: TG\'s Log...Building a Better Booty, Booty, B-B-B-B Booty!
I think it's funny when overweight people tell me; "You're so lucky, being lean and all." We 'tiny folk' have a heck of a job gaining (I think it takes more work than trying to lose!)
Good read Training Girl - keep it going! Hope the shoulder heals soon!

Re: TG\'s Log...Building a Better Booty, Booty, B-B-B-B Booty!
Hard to tell whether the diffs are due to progress or posing and variances in the pics, but the glutes look larger and the quads look to have filled in some Tracy. Keep it up - the mass will come.
