Thanks nyguy. I actually decided to do that. Finally got my first workout in today and it was Craig's Bodyweight Workout. I'm still coughing quite a bit, that even though I don't feel horrible, I sound it and would probably get kicked out of the gym for spreading germs, so I stayed home and worked out. This bodyweight workout was good though. I changed the kneeling pushups to regular and did a longer hold on the side planks. Even got hubby to do it with me [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Warm-up (Circuit performed 2x..no rest)
10 reps of prisoner squats
20 reps bicycle crunch
10 reps kneeling pushups

Workout (Supersets..max 30sec rest between sets)

Lying hip extension: 3setsx8 reps
Plank: 3x15sec

Prisoner Squat: 3x12
Bird Dog: 3x5

Reg pushup: 3x8
Side Plank: 3x10 sec per side

Band pull: 3x15
Ab Curl-up: 3x15 (5sec hold at peak position)

Congrats on getting Mr TG to join you. Sooner or later he'll go full-out on the fitness train and he'll be logging here, too (just imagine the fun trying to take turns on the computer! LOL).

Thanks RB. Thought I was going to the gym today but it was a no-go. Went to the doctor's instead. She gave me a prescription cough syrup which includes codeine, and an inhaler. So I assume I'll be asleep soon since everyone is telling me the codeine will make me sleepy.

I have GOT to make it to the gym on Wednesday..I hate not being able to go. Will however do a bodyweight workout tomorrow [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

And I promise to get back into reading more logs again. I haven't been on a whole lot recently with lots going on and being sick..blech!

Thought I'd bump your workout log for ya so it doesn't sink any lower. Hope you're feeling better. Had to deal with a bad cough a few weeks ago myself. Still lingering a little.

Ahhhhhh...it felt so good to be home (at the gym) again [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Good news is I didn't have to drop weight in anything, so I'm still on track. Weighed myself too..still the same..yay! It's amazing how a day at the gym can make you feel so good [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

General Warmup (Circuit x2)

Specific Warmup:

DB Split Squat: 10sx8, 15sx8
DB Low-Incline Press: 10sx8, 15sx8

Workout (supersets):
DB Split Squat: 25sx8, 25sx8, 25sx8
DB Low-Incline Press: 25sx8, 25sx8, 25sx8

BB Row: 55lbsx8, 55x8, 55x8
1-Leg Stability Ball curl: 8per side, 8per side, 8per side

Nice work... still moving the same amounts, and your weight stayed the same. A hiatus doesn't get much better than that.

Good deal, TG. Glad to see that you took care of your health and is back to kick some booty.

GR told me that not only you managed to lose fat, but also gain weight, which is pretty hard to do. How is that working?

nyguy...I'm pretty much staying on track. I've just learned through experimentation how my body reacts to different foods. If I eat fairly clean and keep my macros around a certain amount while upping the cals, I can keep my bf down. I haven't done measurements lately since I took about 2 weeks off...but I'll probably take them in a few weeks to see where I am. I'd like to gain about 4lbs and keep that bf down.

It would be nice if I could have at least one normal week though!! I was in the ER last night. I went shopping (alone) yesterday, and while I was in one of the stores, I passed out cold onto the floor. There happened to be a doctor there that was shopping with his wife and child...he ran over and took care of me. (I am so thankful he was there). He asked me my health history, checked my pulse, etc...had the girls at the store call 911. Ugh..I was so embarassed leaving in an ambulance. They did an EKG and ran bloodwork at the hospital which all came back fine except my BUN was a little high. The ER doc didn't seem too concerned about it, but I'm going to check with my regular Dr. today anyway cause I'm still feeling off. Feel a little dizzy when I stand, nauseous, headache. (not pregnant if you might be thinking that). We'll see what my regular Dr. wants to do. So I probably won't be around much today...wanted to let you guys know why.

Haha Ted. Yeah..the doctors and nurses were saying I had sticker shock..lol

The doc yesterday suggested an MRI due to my past history (I have a non-cancerous tumor on my pituitary gland)...he wants to make sure there aren't any changes occurring with it. I tell ya'...non-stop fun!!

(And no workout today..I strained some muscles in my back during my fall...I'll be on the heating pad today).
