Good workout today...started feeling a little nauseous halfway through...been a while since I felt like that..but I made it. Went up a tad in squats and chest press..woohoo!

General Warm-up (circuit x 2)

Specific Warm-up

BB Squat: 45lbs x 8, 45x8
Kneeling Elevated Push-ups: 6 per side, 6 per side

Workout (Supersets)

BB Squat: 70lbsx8, 80x8
Kneeling Elevated Push-ups: 8 per side, 8 per side

Smith Split Squat with back foot elevated: 50lbsx8, 50x8
DB Low Inlcine Chest Press: 25sx8, 25sx8

Ball Curl-up: 20reps, 20
Hip Extension of Ball: 20reps, 20


Note to self: young hotties in the gym early on Saturday morning...will have to go back at this time [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I think I wrote about my hip issues earlier in here. I went to a second orthopedist on Thursday. He believes the problem is a muscle/tendon that is snapping over and then back. This sounds right to me because it feels like something is moving out of place, then it pops back when I can move my leg in the right position. There is no damage to the area when viewed on MRI which is a good thing of course. There is a little bit of inflammation present but that's it. (Unfortunately, I am allergic to anti-inflammatories and cannot take any NSAIDS). He prescribed ultrasound massage for the rectus femoris.

No workout today but started PT. For today, he did ice and that electrical stimulation stuff (can't remember the term), along with some good stretches. That actually felt really good. I go back tomorrow morning where I believe he will start the ultrasound massage. The PT seems good and other patients that were there had good things to say about him..yay!

Thanks RB and Marykaa. I had PT again today. I'm hurting a little bit now, but not too bad. I can still exercise, he just told me to really watch my form..which I do anyway [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Workout today was ok. I had to back down on weight for db laterals and it kind of made me mad. I hate when I feel like my body is failing me. When I used 5lbs I had some pain in the right shoulder and had some clicking. Went down to 3 and it was fine. The rest of the workout was good though [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

General Warmup (Circuit x2)

Specific Warmup:
BB RDL: 45lbsx8, 45x8
DB Lateral Raise: 3x8, 3x8

Workout:
BB RDL: 75lbsx8, 85x8
DB Lateral Raise: 3x8, 3x8

V-grip pulldown: 90lbsx8, 90x8 (should have worn my gloves..grip was slipping)
Hamstring Curl: 45x8, 50x8

DB Rear-delt Raise: 5sx8, 5sx8
DB Curl-up: 16lbsx20, 16x20

So I was looking in the mirror and thought...hmm..my legs look a little bigger. Could it be? Could it really be? They measure 20inches!!! Yay!!!! I know that's still not very big, but they have never, ever been at 20inches. Never! And now they are! And my BF is still at 19.2% and my weight was at 132 when I weighed myself yesterday. Many thanks to Craig for his program, guidance and support. And thanks to everyone here for your advice and support [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I'm gonna continue eating, working out and growing [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

LOL...I feel like I just gave an acceptance speech for an award.

To be honest, I wasn't exactly sure how many inches I wanted. I stated 1-2" because I wanted to be realistic in gaining since it's been very hard for me in the past. Now that I'm seeing such good results, I think I'll change it to 2-3"..hehe. Another inch would be completely awesome and I'd be so happy with that [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Felt a bit tired today but still had a good workout. Actually, it kicked my ass...I was cussing out Craig by the end of my hip extensions..lol. (In a good way Craig [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] ) I hope I can make it through next week when I'm doing 3 sets

Going to start listing the breakdown of my food intake daily too..will keep me more in line I think [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Although, I don't keep track of it every single day...just because I get tired of it. Here is today's...

Thanks RB...I LOVE the feeling of putting on my jeans and they feel tight in the thighs..lol.

Hmmmm...I think RDL's are becoming my new favorite exercise. Had a good day at the gym...even being slightly hungover..hehe. Forgot my gloves though and that v-grip really kills my hands. Still sticking with 3lbs on the shoulders...don't want to push it.
