Man, I wish I could work out with you spiders sometime. You're all so lean and in such great shape. On that note, are you still planning on coming over to JP's retreat in April?

Yes, I am flying over in the end of March. Even if I am not ready for my NSCA exam, I will still fly for the retreat, I don't want to miss it.
You could come to Bulgaria and train with us for a while. It is really inexpensive to stay here. There's tons of stuff to do, too.

Sunday is dairy day I guess.
No workout, a bunch of walking.
Did that shopping trip, bough some cod liver, ricotta, yogurt and beef. Bough the new Depeche Mode album. As Milko put it, they really recorded in the basement this time. I like it though.
Sunday is my 10% day to put it in JB's terms.
1. cup yogurt, whey, bran
2. Murphy's salad (iceberg, dill weed, raisins, bacon, sunflower seeds, goat cheese); baked trout
3. 1 piece dark chocolate, 1 tbsp ricotta
4. 2 cups ff yogurt (bough by mistake)

I am low on appetite, I might skip dinner or eat a little bit of meatloaf. I am making some for a client.

I am a bit sore from the SL DLs but overall I feel good. I have a massage in half an hour, I hope it helps with some back tightness I find creeping on me.

A bit of meatloaf, my ***.
I ate the best meal in ages, I was starved after my massage.
meal 5: 2 cups pickled cauliflower and peppers
2 tbsp ricotta
2 slices meatloaf (best recipe ever, just lean beef, pickles and pickled carrots with tons of cumin and black pepper and just 2 eggs, yum).
Next week will be a leaner week, I promise to control my protein portions, otherwise I am just eating expensive sugar.

I almost woke up too late. Milko was supposed to pick me up at 7 something and I woke up at 7. I was thinking, not enough time to eat breakfast...I have been trying so hard to eat first thing in the a.m. and it's hard when you are so tired. I had a motivation break, I was like: just eat at work, big deal. Then I went to the fridge, pulled out 2 oz of meat loaf and 2 spoons of ricotta cheese and ate them in two bites. There. I was done. Second thing I ate my cup of veg at work, so here's food for today:

1. 2 oz meat loaf, 2 tbsp ricotta, 1 cup spinach
2. 1 can tuna, 1 cup cabbage, 1 tbsp olive oil
3. 3.5 oz meat loaf,1 cup spinach, 20 almonds
4. 10 almonds (bad, bad girl)
5. cup curds, cabbage salad, butter
6. one pork rib stolen from Milko's food
7. 3 dried tomatoes, 2 tbsp olive paste with olive oil on a bed of ricotta, brussel sprouts and broccoli. yum!

workout:
before the beastual lunch

30 minutes skipping
10 minutes uphill elliptical, pretty intense

6 sets of abs, superset between swiss ball crunches and swiss ball pikes (yikes!)

I have officially become efficient at skipping, 30 minutes and nothing. Yes, it was very cold, but I didn't get tired at all. I should do something else, but I can't run because it's too cold, and the elliptical is the other option. I could do Tabata This but it makes me so sick I don't want to do it more than once a month.

Anyways, feeling good and thinking about my husband coming back soon.
I miss him.

I'm really glad you're flying over. I want to learn so much from you. I'd love to fly over to Bulgaria and train with you and Milko but I doubt that will ever happen. ha! $$

What about jumping rope instead of skipping? Bring Milko over. Having both of you to train with would be fun. Of course Bulgaria would be fun as well. That's a part of Europe neither my wife or I have ever visited.

I use jumping rope, that's what I call skipping, I don't know what you mean...could you explain, I think English is failing me here.
You are welcome to visit, late May, early June is the best time, then late August and early September.

Where I live jump rope and skipping is the same thing except that skipping is associated to the 10 year old girls .. and jump rope to fitness/guys/boxing.

I use skipping for both.. even for the Double Dutch acrobatic stuff.

Gayla...I don't know how to describe it. Marykaa does a good job. I thought it sounded odd that you would do it but it would be the first time that someone has done something odd and gotten good results. I'll go back to being quiet.

It actually makes me laugh, you guys expect me to do some weird and not very predictable forms of cardio. I wouldn't want to imagine tiptoe HIIT through a field of tulips.LOL

I am actually stunned i've had a log for so long.

Big day.
Testing a possibly new 1RM for deadlift. I always think of Pavel who says if you don't perform a deadlift properly you will find out exactly why it's called a dead-lift. Milko was watching my form, my knee sometimes goes in on a hard lift. I was so nervous my hands were sweating. Where is some powder when you need it, I need to buy some. Great news. Here is my workout:

1RM at 80 kgs
no problem
1RM at 83 kgs
no problem

Well, it was hard and I did get a headache from being nervous. It's the first big weight I ever lifted. It wasn't so hard physically, but very hard mentally. That's a 182.6 lbs. I called Jonas to let him know and he thought I was kidding.
The rest of my workout was weird, because I was mentally tired, but I pushed myself to finish it.

Killers. My abs were sore from the pikes yesterday (first time in ages I have been sore right around my belly button).

I could have eaten a moose after the workout, but we were out of moose. So here is some ordinary food:
1. 2 eggs, 1 oz meat loaf mixed in, half an apple
2. 2 oz meat loaf
3. broccoli, brussel sprouts, 4 chicken livers, 1 large strip bacon, cabbage salad
4. 20 almonds, some broccoli, half an apple
5. 1 cup curds, dab of butter, broccoli, cabbage salad
6. 3 halves sun dried tomatoes, 1 tbsp olive paste, olive oil, 2 tbsp ricotta, 1 cup pickled peppers and cauliflower
I might try the new meatloaf if it's ready before midnight.
