Cabeza sounds like a cow's head, they eat it over here too. Scary stuff, you are a brave guy.
Deserve, I think tuna is a matter of getting used to, and moreso in my case, of being hungry.

Dec 16,
It started off nice and calm, then had unexpected errands to run so the workout that I planned for 1 p.m didn't happen. Neither did the one at 4 p.m. because some clients rescheduled. I didn't get to it till after 7 p.m. I was tired and drained. No coffee for me, and definitely not enough water because of having to run around.
I still did the following:
Military press
5x28kg
5x25kg
5x25kg
5x25kg
5x23kg
5x23kg
5x23kg
5x23kg
5x23kg
5x20kg
Conventional DL
5x60kg
5x60kg
5x60kg
5x60kg
5x60kg
5x60kg
I got super tired at the end of the 6th set. I was working a bit slow because one of the PL people that works out at our gym was watching and commenting on my form, so I was super focused for a while and then lost it all. I was having some wobbly issues with my right knee that spreading the floor fixed towards the end.
Side lat raises
10x5kg
10x5kg
10x5kg
10x5kg
I have shoulder issues so I throw light work in after military sometimes.
One arm swing
8x12.5kg
8x12.5kg
8x12.5kg
I was drained towards the end so I had to call it a day. I was not very satisfied, mainly because the workout was planned for a different time when I would have been fresher. I get up at 6 a.m. so by 7 p.m. I am smoked.
Food:
1. 2 eggs, dab of butter
2. tuna, olive oil, iceberg salad
3. iceberg salad, pork cutlet
4. iceberg salad
5. 3 scrambled eggs with some ham and vegetables
6. huge bowl of salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, oregano, olive oil, onions)
2 oz chicken 2 oz pork
I smelled a Reeses cup, I don't know if that would count for dessert
I already feel lighter, the bloatednes I had from all the dairy last week is gone.
I am wondering whether to do a high carb day on the weekend or just suck it up and continue paleo till the end of next week. Christmas in Bulgaria is 9 meatless dishes, so I would do high carb day then anyways...I'll see how it goes.

Maybe that is the trick. If I get hungry enough I'll eat it. I think the good things about tuna out weigh putting some relish and a little mayo in it.

Nothing wrong with Mayo. Oil, egg, etc. There are even some canola oil mayos, if you want.

Gayla, from reading your log, I suspected that when I woke up nautious this morning it was probably hypogylcemia Yikes. I don't know how you do it with so few carbs. I only went half a day(by accident) and it did me in.
So you DL more than your bodyweight...that's pretty cool.
Enjoying your log, hope you're getting enough to eat. Does iceburg lettuce even count as food? I thought it was all water and nearly no nutrients.

Hey cappy, good to see you drop by.
I have been eating low to medium carbs for 3 years, at times I go extreme like this week and next, but I am fine with it. I get hungry a lot and need to eat a lot of veggies with fiber because I don't feel full otherwise. Iceberg has some fiber, vitamin A and C but not much...
You get used to not eating carbs, it's not a big deal at all. It takes a couple of days.
I will be lifting more on DLs in the future I hope, but it was never a goal for me. Lifting more than my BW is cool though. They sometimes joke there are so few women powerlifting in Bulgaria that if I went to a competition I would still be third, with my whimpy weights.
I am not getting enough to eat, but hunger is a part of dieting, so I don't want to think about it too much. The biggest thing I give up at times is coffee, but who cares

Before my walk I ate two tbsp ANPB, it was awesome and I was sooo shaking with hunger.
Dinner was a mustard greens and cherry tomato salad
and....the refeed meal of the week YEY!
Homemade cous-cous with chicken, olives, olive oil and cherry tomatoes.
It's the first time in ages I have felt the power of the refeed.
Dance was samba tonight, lots of fun.
My teacher is helping me learn how to do handstands as well, I am enjoying them a lot. I am not able to keep myself up long yet, but I will be soon. It took me 2 weeks to learn how to do good cartwheels. I am slow with gymnastics, it was never something that came easy for me.
We went out in the park in the snow for 2 hours and made a snowman, that was calorie expensive, I bet. Off to bed now, hoping to enjoy many sleep cycles.

Walking for 3 hours shopping for Xmas gifts, snow boots and stuff. That's all the workout I got today.
I decided to contintue adding some carbs at meals 1 and 3, just to fill up the tank a bit.
1. 1/2 cup oatmeal
2. small salad, 1/2 cup yogurt
3. 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup yogurt
4. half a pork shank and a carrot salad
The rest of the shank will stay for tomorrow when I will happily eat it for lunch.
We all went out to a German place known for its pork shanks, beer and other things German. I had a small glass of traditional hot wine and cinnamon, my husband told me the name in English, but of course I forgot.
Have a great Monday and enjoy the snow (for those of you who have it, those who don't....grrrrrrrrrr I wish I were in your shoes, literally).

I will post my diet later

please elborate on the "stiff butt" stuff. That's a first for me!
Seems like an interesting workout you got going here. Are you able to keep the intensity up with that many sets?

Hey CAchief, good to see you here...
Heheh, stiff butt feels like really tight glutes, lots of lactic acid and pain. I get it more after I have eaten carbs the day before, which a monday usually is the day after some carbs. I was also feeling the sick urges so I had to stop at the 7th set. If I feel I am going to be really sore, I just don't push it much more.
I keep my intensity as planned in the workouts, I start high and don't fall under 75% of my 1 RM. On unilateral lower body stuff it's hard to do a 1 RM, so I estimate it.
I also did cable crunches, somehow I left them out.
15x51kg
15x51kg
15x51kg
Diet:
1. 2 eggs, olive oil
2. cabbage salad and piece of pork shank, fat removed
3. cabbage salad
4. Grilled vegetables
5. 1 tbsp ANPB
6. Mushroom soup with small piece of toast (I had terrible stomach cramps because I had to drink a sip of wine at a party for a toast, and it hit me really bad).
1/2 tuna steak
6 small shrimps
2 broccoli flowerets
Stomach pain didn't go away so I had to take the rest of the tuna and broccoli to go.
Off to bed, yey

Dec 20,
I don't know what happened last night with that sip of wine but I spent all day in bed, after being super sick, my stomach was detroyed from throwing up that many times today. It's 7 p.m. and I am better now, no work, no food and no workouts for me. I just had a piece of blackened toast, I hope it helps. I will continue logging when I get back on track.

Yep, nothing else unusual in my diet.
I am getting better, thanks for your concern.
By the way having a sore bootie doesn't help at all.
