This log will be for, you guessed it, Barely Legal.
I haven't decided to go for the full 8 weeks, or the 4 weeks that were in Men's Fitness. We'll see as I go through the program.
I got so fat in Scrawny to Brawny that I am going to try to maintain during this routine. I am going to throw in some HIIT twice a week, because I need to be better conditioned, and I didn't do any in S2B. It will help me maintain, and I will be hitting the cardio heavily come 2006.
Hopefully measurements will be coming later today.

I, too will be cutting soon. I've almost hit my goal weight of 180, but I could stand to lose some around the middle. A nice, ripped 172 would be great for summer.

I hurt my wrist on T-Day playing football. I was covering on a kickoff and my hand and wrist got smashed between my body and the person that was blocking me. During games of any kind, I just brush everything off and I don't realize I am hurt. (I've done this with badly sprained ankles, the flu, etc.)
So, of course, I didn't think that I was hurt until I woke up Friday morning. If it makes any sense, it's not when I have my hand in a certain position when it hurts, it's the process of moving my wrist. The destination is fine, the journey sucks. It's also extremely sore to the touch. It extends from the wrist to about three inches up my forearm on the outside.
However, the last two mornings when I have gotten up, it has felt fine. As the day has progressed though, the pain has gotten worse. Today, it felt fine, but once I got into the gym, it started hurting, and I didn't want to risk it. But, it's not swollen. I've never swollen up when I have sprained an ankle or something else, so I don't think that's a very good indicator.
I don't think it's broken (I broke my right wrist a long time ago, and it's not as bad as that. Or at least from what I can remember, I was 9.) but I do think I badly bruised it, and maybe sprained it. I figure that now, with this pain, it's a damn good time for a rest week.
I'll just start BL over again next Monday, and pickup P10 where I left off, or redo week 4, and then go from there. Better to be safe than crack something. This is also only my second rest week of 2005.

Sorry to hear you're hurting, bro. You might want to get to a clinic and get it checked out by a doc if the pain doesn't start getting better.

As for the injury, take your time. I'm thinking that you should probably have a doc look at it, though, since it's still painful more than 3 days later. Just to be on the safe side.

So Nick, why don't you spend some time running until your wrist gets better? Not to early to start that winter training for your next triathlon. You should talk to BamaDave about doing both weights and running.

Joe- Great idea. I'm going to push myself through some HIIT tomorrow, and then go from there. I'm hoping it won't counteract with P10, because I have just five weeks left of it. If I can throw one long (for me) distance run in a week with two sessions of HIIT, and still grow, I will consider that a success.
I definitely need to go look at BD's log.

Mk- I did HIIT for about five months last semester. However, I stopped once summer came, because I work crazy hours at a pool and just did whatever the heck I wanted for exercise. After my tri in August, I essentially quit running save for when I was on vacation, and I'm paying the price right now.
Jamie- Thanks, this is about as low as I can go. I took a nice nap afterwards for "recovery."

The most "pukefied" moment, of the workout was after I completed the squats, romanians and split squats right in a row. The ab circuit was like a rest period compared to the leg exercises. It was intense.

Glad your feeling better man. Question for Mary how do you do this "(I love my HIITs with .mp3-voice-overs telling me the time left and when to start.. lets me concentrate on my Intensity and recuperation)
I just recently got an ipod and was wondering if I could set it up like your mp3 player.
