Ran a mile and then attended a Yoga class. Yes boys and girls a Yoga class. I did not find my "chi"...but I liked the class. Was very relaxing and I, for sure, saw which parts were a bit too tight.
This will be a regular Wednesday event.
PS - I am wearing sandles today AND practiced Yoga this morning. I feel like a real hippy.

September 13, 2007 - 4x6 Day
Shoulder health/warm up (All light)
Scap Pushups 2x15
BO Lat Raises 2x15x10
Face Pulls 2x15x80
(Workout A)
BB Bench press flat 4x6x155
BO DB Rows 4x6x60
Tricep Press Downs 1x6x120/1x6x140/1x6x150/1x5x15 0(failed last attempt)
Rev. Crunch 2x20
My triceps are fried. FRIED I SAY!
My weight is hanging at 170. I may have to adjust my caloric intake a bit. Back down on the portions a bit or reduce a little of the fat I'm eating. I dunno. I'll probaby just keep doing what I a doing for another week before adjusting. Sometimes patience is the best thing. I mean I lost like 5 pounds in 2 weeks eating like this..I can't believe I need to adjust that many calories due to that little loss.
My sleep is all f'ked up. We got my daughter a new puppy and guess where it is sleeping..no wait..it'a not sleeping..guess where it is playing most of the night?
Yeah. I'm moving to the couch tonight if new arrangements aren't made. I feel like homemade sh;t.

We've got a yoga guy that I did some stretches with after hearing everyone bitch about him (I made him a leader BECAUSE of his yoga). Seemed pretty cool to me. Some of it was a little strange but for the most part it was all just slight modifications of "normal" stretches.
I think it'd be cool to go to one of the "hot room" yoga things once a week or whatever and just stretch like a sum-bitch for that hour...and never talk about it to anyone.

Nope. But the young lady next to me had one on. And watching her helped me straighten out my form.

f'k it. I'm too old to be cool anyway (Not that anyone OLDER than me isn't cool) .
If I start sprouting fairy wings, I'm through with Yoga.

Monday - September 17, 2007 - 3x10 Day
Shoulder health/warm up (All light)
Scap Pushups 2x10
BO Lat Raises 2x10x10
Face Pulls 2x10x100
(Workout B)
Overhead Press 1x9x95, 1x10x85, 1x9x85
Chins 3x10xbw
Close grip Bench 2x10x135, 1x9x135
Chest supported DB Rows 3x10x55
I was actually attempting 3x10 throughout so you can see I had some failures on the military presses and bench. So I was busting my balls this morning. I got one hell of a pump (well..as pumped as Jimbo can get) It was a personal best on the bench as far as goign that high rep..and best ever on the chins so I'm velly velly hoppy. The first 10 chins were EASY. I was quite surprised. I used to GRIND out 8 reps. I did have to grind out the last set but I made the 10. So I'm very happy I seem to be getting stronger. Woohoo. This diet seems to be doing something..We will continue.

Tuesday, September 18, 2007 - 10x3 Day
Shoulder health/warm up (All light)
Scap Pushups 2x15
BO Lat Raises 2x15x10
Face Pulls 2x15x80
(Workout A)
BB Bench press flat 10x3x170
BO DB Rows 10x3x70
Tricep Press Downs 10x3x140
Rev. Crunch 2x20
I weigh 170. So doing 10 set of 3 at that weight is pretty good I guess. Well..I was happy. That's a personal best. Strength is steady going up. My weight is holding steady at 169-170 and I can't see a real difference in my bf. This seems to be where my body WANTS to be. I guess I need patience? I dunno. We will see in a week or 2. Then I'll need to do something different. I really want to trim off that last bit of excess bf.

Nice job Jimbo, on the Chins and the bench.
Benching 10 set of 3 of your own body weight is very impressive.
