Wednesday, August 29, 2007 - 4x6 day
Shoulder health/warm up (All light)
Scap Pushups 2x15
BO Lat Raises 2x15x10
Face Pulls 2x15x80
(Workout B)
Overhead Press 3x6x95, 1x6x100
Chins 4x6xbw+15
Close grip Bench 1x6x135, 3x6x155, 1x6x160
Chst sup DB Row 4x6x50
Did the 100# overheads on the last set of Presses because I didn't want Gob to call me a puss again.
PS - I am down 4 pounds in a week. I think mostly water weight. I can see fat coming off the mid section. Strength hasn't suffered too much. Down to 169 from 173 last week. Woohoo.
I don't want to lose at that rate another week though. If I see that next week, I may up the calories.

Thanks guys! I really wanna stick it through this time and get to 10%bf. The longer I'm on this diet...the harder I am finding it to get all the calories in even in a deficit. Wierd huh? I need to get me som red meat. Been eating tons of chicken, and cheese and eggs.
Yeah that Gob is sneaky trainer! I'm on to him this time though.
However, I wonder if I COULD hit those chins.. hmmm. {Gob..you bastard}
And I mean that in the most friendly way.:p

Hit the pool this morning for lots of knee rehab:
Jogged laps
Used Kick board
Swam laps
Lunges
Unilateral Squats
Leg swings
Took about an hour.
There is a step arobic class that happens on Mon;wed;fridays that is run by a guy that has been doing it there steady for over 8 years. I talked to a man who has been in his class the whole 8. I'm considering trying it in my continued efforts to strengthen my knee. I'm not sure I'm totally up to it yet. But I'm considering it. Thing is, I would have to hit the gym on Sturday in order to hit my 3 days a week lifting and that sucks. Not sure.

I don't know how I missed your post. So sorry I am late noticing it and responding.
Yeah, I'm doing the "Anabolic Diet". That's a fancy name for carb cycling. I'm in the induction period which is 12 days long. You go <30g carbs over the first 12 days. Then you begin having 36 hour carb ups every 5 days. You still stay under 30g carbs between carb ups.
Oh..and I have my very first carb up this weekend. So we shall see.

Friday, August 31, 2007 - 3x10 day
Shoulder health/warm up (All light)
Scap Pushups - 2x15
BO Lat Raises - 2x15x10
Face Pulls - 2x15x80
(Workout A)
Flat BB Bench press - 2x10x135, 1x10x145
BO DB Rows - 3x10x55
JM Presses - 3x10x55 (I hate these and I might change)
Rev. Crunch - 2x20
Hammer Curls - Pyramid (went to failure on every set)
Dumbells - 40,35,30,25,20,15,12,10,8
I Looked like a friggin WEINER struggling with those 8# DB's! But it was fun?
I HAVE to get me a notebook and started writing this shit down in the gym. It might just help me to know what I lifted on the previous time that I performed this setup. My rep ranges and routine is switching every day so it's a struggle to figure out if I'm making any progress AND it's a struggle to make sure I'm even doing the right session/rep scheme on a given day. I'm too old for this shit. Need a note book in hand.

If it makes you feel any better, I wouldn't suggest it if I didn't think you could do it.
They make notebooks...that you could write on...and you want to use it for the gym? Who would ever dream they would come up with such an invention?! The things these kids come up with, I tell ya.
You're killing me smalls.

Maybe I should patent it? Sometimes these great ideas just come to me. What can I say? Genius is as genius does.

Thanks man. I have REALLY felt the support from everyone on this forum and I really appreciate it. I know tha tlife will be more normal again in time. Thanks.
I decided Saturday morning to do something other than set on my butt. So I thought I would try a little running for the first time since my knee injury.
I ran two miles! Hell yeah I did. And it really felt good. My knee just might be on the good side of wellness.
