Monday August 20, 2007 - 10x3 day
Shoulder health/warm up (All light)
Scap Pushups 2x15
BO Lat Raises 2x15x10
Face Pulls 2x15x80
(Workout B)
BB Overhead Press 1x3x75, 1x3x85, 8x3x95
Chins 1x3xbw+12, 1x3xbw+15, 8x3xbw+20
Close grip Bench 1x3x135, 1x3x145, 4x3x155, 1x2x155
Had to cut it all short. Ran out of friggin time. First day of school for kids. Gotta figure out the morning routine...getting kids ready to bus stop and getting to gym in enough time to workout..all over again. I'll do better wednesday.
I was happy, none the less, with the over head presses. Shoulders feel good. The chins were a bitch and I failed on that last set of close grip bench. I was gonna drop som weight and noticed the time.
Oh well. Life goes on.
My diet sucked this weekend. Drank beer/ate chips/ate crap/etc. I threw in plenty of real food but not sure that even counts.
Didn't rehab the knee this weekend either. So I was just basically a lazy bastard.

Stop being a pussy and get triple digits in the OH press.
Don't you feel like a "dirty girl" doing the clams? I know I do.

Everyone else is so nice it upsets the Karmic balance. It's my job to keep the world from imploding. You're welcome.

Performed Knee Rehab program. Getting easier but still can only do a single set of the ONE legged bridge.
Knee is feeling a bit more normal. Time will tell.

Swam for an hour. Did laps a while. Tried to use kick board but only did a few laps. Leg just isn't ready for that I guess.
I did several laps of brisk walking in the pool with water chest high. Also did some leg swings. (100 reps)
Knee felt really good afterwards.

I love your optimism! You need to bottle that stuff. Oh yeah..it's already in a bottle. Called Bud LIght...
I'd luv to be squatting! Uh..that came out a little wierd.:p I'm going down hill..
Ok. Anyway, thanks.
btw - It's back on the low car band wagon for me beginning tomorrow. I can FEEL myself getting fat. (probably just mental)
My injury kinda made me not give a shit for a while. I didn't really plan for low carb today...ie...have fruit and stuff with me... So starting in the a.m. tracking on fitday..upping protien and fat..dropping carbs to <50 through the first week.
Planning for 13 weeks if I can stay on course that long. (I so suck at staying on course) If I drop 15 pounds I'll be sick lean. I'm probably around 14% bf now at 170. Wish me luck.
Edited to say: OMG I have several beers left. I may have to finish all those tonight.:p

Behind Roland's emo tree?
Drinking a case of beer is a great way to start the diet! I'm just jealous...starting that whole "willpower" thing. Fat people are happier, that's just a fact. They might die sooner but it'll be with a steak, taters, and a tall Murphy's stout...if you got to go! Can you imagine having a heart attack in the pool or on a run? Be all out there "*gasp* shit *gasp* but I'm running *gasp*....you look over and see a fat guy eating a steak and drinking a beer all jolly.
