Hi Tim,

Regarding your workout, its not how I would go about it. Too many competing exercises within the supersets. your grip will fail and your effort will suffere because of it.

How are you going to blade that much in the cold rainy weather I am going to try to get some blading in at Ass. Park and jump rope in the back yard when it warms up.

To get to 6'2" I can tie you up to my car and pull

Monday Morning...May 16/05

played a double header last night...felt like the deadlift and leg work over the winter helped the swing...with two triples and three home runs...I felt a step or two slower in the field...this damned extra weight has got to go.

Diet this weekend sucked...I was just too lazy...got to get better.

Tonight I'll hit the iron.

My legs were still feeling the effects of the double header....draged my ass to the "play room" got in a dynamic flexibility curcuit (thanks to BH)...then I supersetted bi's and Tri's...great pump...

I ate way better on Monday...I need to start logging the food.

I am going to need to keep the work outs to keep the stress down - wife's great uncle (he's more like a grandfather) is in the Hospital and it maybe the cancer relapse he was dreading.

stay strong, stay positive, stay in the moment!!

Sorry to hear about the Uncle. The workouts should help the stress level. Keep at it and you will have lost those lbs by mid summer.

Thanks for the support.

I didn't get a work out in last night...needed do get the groceries stocked up again...damn it gets expensive with a growing family. But I am good now for a while...just got the meat order Over $200!!! of lean beef & chicken. (insert plug for the Dutch Meat Market)

Back at the iron tonight..From Craigs's comment I need to adjust my routine a little. I just gets tough with the limited equipment and I hate re adjusting the weight all the time...note to self talk to the father's day fairy for more equipment.

Ate good yesterday..starting to get used to eating less...less bloat is good.

Just remember that you have a family and don't make a living off your body. That is what I tell myself when I feel bad about cheating. I do the best I can 90% of the time. You have to share that few licks of an ice cream with your kids in the summer, or bbq burgers, etc. You are exercising and make proper choices. It will come.

We should get together and blade sometime in the summer. Also what kinda equipment do you need?

Thursday Morning....

Got in a good intense hour last night....eating was good..forgot to bring the tuna for my lunch salad...my kitchen was a zoo yesterday morning with the kids breakfast and lunch...damn life gets in the way...oh well I brought a stock pile of tuna to work.

The weather hasn't been cooperating with my rollerblade schedule (rain)...should do some HITT on those nights...my dog would enjoy that too.

I am off from work tommorow I should get a work out in and then off to help my Brother set up for my parents 40th anniversary on Saturday.

I haven't been able to get out and do my HIIT either, so I have been doing burpees in the basement instead. As for the kitchen, I try and make the lunches the night before so I am not rushed in the am.

Watch the Sear's flyers for the sales. It is reg $289 and it goes for $169 every once in a while. I actually have 2 of those posters. One day I am going to take the good one in to get mounted and framed.

Tuesday May 24,

Four days away from the office felt great...played referee between my girls....we got out on Fridayto get my oldest to "practice" her bike riding...she has it figured out but doesn't trust herself on hard surfaces yet.

I only got one full work out in but I had to cut the grass twice...lots of walks and playing around with the kids.

My parent's 40th went off with out a hitch. Untill the wind blew over some fireworks towards us...never fails when I get together with my brother something ends up getting destroyed...dropping trees on cars, blowing up cars the list goes on.

I ate ok..except for thoses damn cookies the Tin Lady made. I finished them last night to protect the family from further exposure!

Back to the iron tonight...itf the rain hold off today I'll be blading home.

Thanks for the heads up laxcdn...Zellers has one for $149...and it comes with those stupid "fly" attachments.

The rain held off and got on the wheels...damn it felt tougher yesterday ...the legs were pumped and burning...I didn't bonk but I felt spent. Didn't get to the iron last night by the time soccer was over for my girls and they got to bed it was after nine and I didn't have it in me...that and the barbie yard sale they left in my "gym" was too duanting.

Oh well I'll make it up soon.

Glad you got out blading. I have to still. Most nights we get to the school play structure and then I chase my son. Having a family makes you rearrange workouts. ie my son got up at 6 this am, so I have to do my workout after work or when he goes to bed.

If I see a deal I will let you know. I got that oly set on the weekend. $150 for 210lbs. Will have to go back for some 45's in the summer.
