Gymrat. thanks man. It's not fun. Last night I slept almost 10 hours - I think the med given me has really caused some fatigue. BTW, I love your sig line - LOL.
Kuri, I am feeling significantly better today, thanks for asking buddy. I felt pretty run down/still kinda sick on the weekend. Decided that I need to take a week off. I don't want to strain the stiches (7 of them externally, plus a bunch internally), nor get them dirty from sweat risking an infection. As it is, I have to cover the Frankenstein looking stiches with a big-ass bandage. Yeah, that 'Cindy' is a real bitch, huh? I am very excited to start, still checking the Crossfit page daily. Hopefully by the time the stiches are out next Monday (I am going to beg him to take them out this week though when I go for round 2 of the sick-inducing Interferon shots ), I'll be rarin' to go. That is so awesome that your wife is doing them with you. Nothing like fit Asian babes kickin' ass!
TG...... .... no comment. Thanks for your post.

Damn, I had no idea that many stitches were required - take it easy there K.
I think you'll love Xfit considering what sports your into.
Yeah, my wife is enjoying it too, but not the soreness She's is the one that always wants to go down to the beach and use the rings/ropes/bars. What can I say - I'm a lucky bastard!
This week off will just get you that much more motivated to tackle the WODs next week.
Perhaps I'll start my own log on here so we can push each other.

Chris, definitely do it! Buk is from a different planet that me as far as strength goes, and you are too, but maybe I can compete with Mrs. Kuri. Yeah, you are lucky.
I am going to take it easy. A day of just office work today and I am beat and tired. Yuck - feeling worn down and yucky just sucks.. On the positive side though, I blasted through a good portion of my reading pile this weekend!

Wow, Kaiser that sounds pretty rough...surely you don't want to put a barbell on that wound either. Glad you're catching up on some sleep though. It's about time for a rest week anyway, isn't it?
Looking forward to watching you, Buk, and Kuri compete with crossfit WODs.
Kuri, you've been chiming in here long enough, it's time to start your own log!

Yeah, you are right Cap. It is about time for a full break week.
I don't think I'll be competing with either Buk or Kuri! Those guys are strong.
So will you join us in doing some Crossfit WODs? I see that it has captured your interest, and some of your time. I think you'd do well in it. I also think JP would totally kick ass in the WODs because of his strength and endurance.

I'm nowhere near Buk in strength. I do OK with routines like "Cindy", probably because of my MA background.
K, I think you'd kick some ass too because of your cycling and climbing background.
Cap - do join us in some Xfit. My wife would love to see how some other girls are doing.

I've been watching Buk on these Crossfit stuff and I might have to give a few of these workouts a try. They sound very challenging and kind of fun to switch things up.

Chris, I was feeling good, but still have stitches in my neck. Yesterday I went in for round 2 of shots (interferon) that make me as sick as a dog for 24-36 hours. I am just getting over that. Doc refused to remove stitches until next week, and to add insult to injury, put me on an antibiotic course as a precaution (messed up GI tract now). Looks like I am waiting even more - maybe a 2 week break. Can't start until at next Tuesday at the earliest, probably Wed or Thurs in reality. Thanks for asking though bro!

Damn! Sorry about the series of problems - that rots. I had no idea a cyst requires that sort of recovery period.
I guess now's the time to really catch up on your reading and films.
Make your self useful and let us know what to see/read
You'll be kicking some Xfit butt before you know it.

All of that really suck Kaiser. Hopefully the rest break will prove benificial though, and you will be beyond full strength when you are cleared to go.

Crap, crap, crap Cap! I was trying to let this log slide off to page 2. I've decided that I don't want to publicly log my workouts anymore. Bunch of reasons - none worth going into here though. I guess maybe I should've let you know -sorry. I am a crossfitter! I will be posting in Kuri's log from time to time on the benchmark 'girls', as long as he can handle it. And no, I'm not quite the fat goober. lol.
