CtA, thanks!

Rev: There's no link that I can see...

Chinups
5,5,4,3,3 - BW+20

Hang Clean & Press
5,5,5,4,4 -105

Pull Throughs
2x8-140

Situps
2x8-40

Chins were basically no progress as far as weight. Don't know why.

HC&P went well again, though I couldn't quite get the press part out on rep 5 of each of the last two sets. I got the cleans for all reps though.

Trap Bar Deadlifts (elevated on two quarter-plates)
4x5-295

Dips
5x5-BW+50

Cable Rows
2x8-140

Reverse Hypers
2x8-BW

Ok, so these 295 pulls were hard. I did manage to pull all 5 reps for the first 4 sets, though. It was as I prepared for the fifth that I felt a very unplesant pain/pulsing pressure in my groin. It kinda moved through the groin up towards my abs. It came and went 3 times, including once when I bent over. It's gone now, but at the time I figured, "Hmmm, this fifth set isn't worth a pulled groin, a hernia or ab tear, or whatever the hell's going down there". So I stopped. We'll see what it feels like in my warmups for the front squats on Monday.

On the dips I shot up to bw+50, because I felt strong tonight, and I guess I was under-shooting the last couple weeks.

Ok, time to clean up and sleep because I have to reopen the gym in 9 hours!!!

Shiiiit. I think I could pull a 225 triple right now, which means you're about 40-50 pounds ahead. You're on!

BB Front Squats
5x5 - 155

Incline Bench Presses
5,4,5,4,3 - 160

Bulgarian Split Squats
2x8-60's

One-Arm DB Rows (elbow out)
2x8-60 (each)

Squeezed out all 5x5 on the front squats this time. Presses hurt today... not in a "bad" way, just in a "my pecs don't wanna play ball today" way. Blech.

Bulgarians up to 60. Went well.

Kick ass on the front squats. The bench will come around, they always do.

Holy shiat on the Bulg. Squats man! I dont think I'm worthy to train with you. I suck.

Your lifts are awesome and they will only get better. Keep up the good work.

Hah! Yeah right!

Thanks for the encouragement though. And you might be a lot closer to me by the end of StB!

*Big discovery today: I had been using my backback full of plates on the chins - and dips - and a trainer at the gym suggested I use his weight belt instead. I stuck the same 20 pounds on the belt and BOOM it was like flying up towards the bar! After struggling to get the first 3 sets of 5 with my backback, the last two were relatively easy. Physics!!! Ha. It'll be good to use it on the dips for the last workout of Phase II.

Yeah, if you use a back pack it puts all the weight behind you and in my experience overloads the triceps WAY more. This way you are able to incorporate more chest and anterior deltoid assistance in unison with your triceps. Good discovery there man.

I'm waiting until tomorrow to do an "official" weigh in, but off the record, I began Phase II at 164, and now weigh 169. Not bad!
