I'm replacing some of my books with new editions and wondered if anyone would be interested in purshasing any of the previous editions.

Supertraining 5th edition
Science of Flexbility 2nd edition
Essentials of Strength and Conditioning 1st edition
Facts and Fallacies of Fitness 4th edition
Designing Resistance Training Programs 2nd edition

All are in excellent condition (I love my books!!) except for maybe Supertraining which is rather dog-eared but the info is great.

First come first served.

I would take all three of these if the price isn't too bad:
Essentials of Strength and Conditioning 1st edition
Facts and Fallacies of Fitness 4th edition
Designing Resistance Training Programs 2nd edition

Just let me know how much you want.

Danny

First obvious question... What'cha want for them? And do you have a "bulk rate" if I were to take them all off your hands in one fell swoop?

Wowee, that's what I get for hesitating! There were no replies a couple of minutes ago. Plus I was hoping that if I offered to take a book off your hands, you might take a look at my post about foot cramps

I'm interested in the Essentials of Strength and Conditioning. About a month ago in a serious quest for information, I nearly ordered all the CSCS study material, but was able to hold back and pace myself. Don't want to sit for the exam, but would love to have some reference material. Used & less than new price works for me!

Danny,

JP called direct before I saw your post so he'll get first dibs.

There may be a couple that you want left over. Make sure I have your email address and I'll let you know. If they do come available, they should be in your price range.

THESE BABIES GOTTA GO!! WE'RE SLASHIN' PRICES!!

Bill

P.S. How's things conjugate style?

Thats cool Bill, I have a ton of books both training and nontraining to read I just figured if I happened to be first it would be convinient.

Conjugate is going great. I had a rough span of about a month in may/early june where the workouts weren't quite as frequent as they should be but now I am hitting PRs all over the place. I just hit a new one in the deadlift earlier this week (I kept my neutral arch too). I can't wait for next week when I actually start a really structured 8 week cycle. Now if I could just get my diet going like my training...

Powerlifters don't have to diet. They just need to eat. A big belly helps you squat more weight!!!

Haha, thanks for the encouragement Bill.

Actually I am trying to gain weight. I just need to manage to eat more and make it healthier. I am in desperate need of more muscle mass. I have decided to hold off competing until next year in a hope I have more size (and a lot more strength) by then. At 5'11" I would be like 5 inches taller than the rest of the 181s so I am going to try for 198s or higher.

Don't worry Danny... My offer of $50 got Bill laughing so hard he just about had a stroke. Actually, I can probably only afford two of them, and I told him the the main two I wanted were Supertraining and Designing Resistance Programs. You probably already have Supertraining if I remember correctly.

Dude, you must be old to bring that joke back from the dead. I think that was funny back when I was 6 or 7 years old.

By the way, I do have a sister and she's bigger than you and could most likely kick your ass on a bad PMS day.

My sister is 5'10" 185 (down from 210) and is a former Big Ten Shot Put finalist AND she has a bad attitude.

Besides most of the guys on the forum have no idea what we're talking about.

"Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman!"

Bill,

I'm still interested in "Essentials" and would probably like "Facts and Fallacies" too. If Danny doesn't want them and you're not ready to use them in the bathroom, I would give them a good home.
