Yeah, that's Kaiser's girl Annie who's in that pullup video doing about 30 consecutive at an inhuman pace.
Nice pull technique huh? hubba hubba!

I soooo don't find her hot...maybe it's just me. She just seems a little too manly for me.

She's got more veins on her arms than I do ....
I'm with shark and Keith on this one.

I will go with impressive and possibly cute. But I obviously have a different opinion of what is hot.

You guys (Sharky and Keith) also need to understand...her arms don't look like when she doesn't have 100lbs attached to them. My arms look like perfectly normal, fairly thin arms when I'm just walking around. But flex 'em and watch out! LOL.

Her arms are better than mine. I'm now officially intimidated. But you have to say there is an attractive quality about her.

Pretty good promotion for multiple joint training.....I would bet MONEY that this girl doesn't do isolated bicep and/or tricep exercises as well.
Here is the pull-up video of her from a while back....

OK, Dos. Unofficially (since we all know Craig B's programs are the way to go officially), what's your take on the Crossfit program (if you have seen it, and it seems you have)? Just looking for a professional's opinion on its strengths and shortcomings.
PS: She's doing a triple extension guys - her muscles, and a lot of them, are gonna be flexed in that pic. For those who don't want to watch Dos' video, she cranked out 36 kipped pullups pretty quickly and sequentially. I'm curious to know if anyone on this forum can do 36 sequential pullups. I can't. My guess would be that JP might be able to. Also probably Mountain Marc or any other serious climbers.

Definately impressive, although not really my type either.
Sure, i'd love an athletic girl, especially one thats in the gym doing cleans and squats over 90minute elliptical sessions(note: 90 min elliptical session is a sign to steer clear, shes a psycho! - kinda kidding )
I still like my avatar - prime example of a hot girl lifting (insert graemlin)

Not to veer too far off-topic, but the whole "kipped" thing... does that mean with lower body help? And if so, are they true pullups? I'm not trying to knock her at all, just curious. I always make a point to come to full stretch, my legs locked and immobile, even if it means maxing out at a third of 36!

There's been a ton of debate over whether or not "kipping" was cheating or not... and it will probably continue. I think it's just helpful to know whether it was used or not. CrossFit recommends it but I'm not qualified to explain why. Buk probably knows. Still, I don't know many people who could knock out 36, kipping or not. Of course, I'm not 20-something and 95 lbs soaking wet either! ... but no excuses.
On a different but related topic, here's a VIDEO from the most recent CrossFit journal. It's "open source" and they told me before that it was okay to share if I gave the source. I'm throwing that in (1) to see if that's more the look that the squish guys like and (2) and to show another aspect of the CrossFit approach... lots of Oly lifts and who here is going to dis the Oly's!?!

Thanks for that video Brad - gotta try that next time in the gym.
As for kipping pullups I think you've got to consider that crossfitters are not doing them with hypertrophy as the main goal, though one will see muscle gains.
Crossfitters do them this way in order to maximize the amount of work completed in the shortest time possible.
I think both are valid methods, just done with different goals in mind.

Have to agree with this statement. Although I never would have believed it until I started Craig's program. I can't believe the progress I've made in 6 weeks and not one bicep curl
