So today I am trying sumo deadlfts. Today I discover my form on sumo deadlifts is WAY better than my form on regular. I have to assume this has to do with the arms traveling in a straight line down to the bar.
Back work today besides deads was some bent over rows and let me tell you, they don't make my upper back sore, they never have. I have to assume the sumos have had the effect on my back.
I know that it's not an indication of a good work out, but to me it is an indication of I hit those muscles at least. YAY!
End result, I am a fan of the Sumo Deadlift. I have been scared to try higher weights due to form issues, but I don't think I will have trouble now.
