I tried doing the clean and press for the 1st time and it felt all wrong! I did read the link Johnka posted, but it confused me a little (go figure). Is the movement all 1 movement to the point where you catch the bar before pressing? Reading the link made it sound like separate pulls
with pauses. Also had trouble with pulling the bar high before doing the catch! Can someone give a few pointers so that an idiot (that be me) can understand! Thanks!!

I think you should stick to the pull and not worry about the catch unless you really want to learn how to clean. A coach is the best route because there are a bazillion things that can go wrong. If you want to push press, go in a power rack and do it in there off pins.
