That's cool Bill! What are you doing to push your traffic up? Are you advertising anywhere, like with banners and such?

Nothing too intentional really.

Just putting out the newsletter every 2 weeks. I also have some other sites with articles on them that refer to my site.

Also some good key words in my text and registering with search engines.

Question

I don't get it - you can't mean that your site is the #5 most popular site so what *does* it mean?

I'm referring to the "golf fitness" keyword category in the search engines.

Okay Bill... YOu have to help me figure out how you did that. If you search for fitness advice or weight lifting, or personal training, etc... you may find me if you are patient enough to wade through several pages. What kills me is that the quality level of much of the stuff ahead of me is insultingly low. What am I doing wrong?

Ask your web designer about key words and META tags on your site.

It also helps to distinguish what aspect of fitness you are emphasizing. For instance, "fitness" or "personal training" are huge categories with thousands of websites listed.

Also keep in mind that it took me a year to get up that high in "golf fitness". Imagine how impossible it would be to achieve that rank in "golf" or "fitness" categories.

Here's a couple more rankings based on other key words on my site:

"golf specific" ranked 13(first page)
"golf flexibility" ranked 46
"Tiger Woods fitness" ranked 3 (first page)

JP,

You're site is #1 under "Little Rock Corporate Fitness" and "Arkansas Corporate Fitness".

You're #51 under corporate fitness which is good. Perhaps this would be a category to pursue.
