I heard that if one only benches, he will get a weird looking valley between his pecs. Is htta true?

That shouldn't be a problem if you are doing a full body routine. You are doing a full body routine, correct?

Yes if you only do bench presses eventually your shoulders will be pulled forward and you will get a curved-looking upper back. This can even happen with a balanced routine if you continuously work your chest significantly more than or harder than your back.
