Lately I've been going through a kinda "down period". I suffer from mild depression. Exercise has always been key to me in keeping me going. But.....lately.....well, the only exercise I've gotten is rolling over in bed each morning. So I need some help. I need help in being accountable to someone. Tomorrow, will someone please check with me and see if I've gotten my lazy depressed butt outta bed and to the gym? I know I'll do it tomorrow if I have to face you guys and say "opps....slept in again".
So, tomorrow I get up and go to my gym for an early morning workout. Right?
P.s. I did a workout this morning, first in about 3-4 weeks. It's a start!
Come on guys....help me by making me accountable!

rem, I promise to kill you if you don't work out tomorrow.
Hey, Do you want me to setup a Rem1956 Training log for ya if you don't have access to post there? That's a good place to set-up camp and log your workouts.

Thanks Newlife. JP already gave me permission. Plan to write something new up. I started one on the RR&D V2, but that wasn't a good workout for me to do in the morning at my gym. Too much changing weights/setting up and competing with others for bars and plates. A 5x5 scheme is not good at that hour of day. so I quit. I gave up the routine. I gave up lifting. I started sleeping in. Oh hum....
Thanks for the offer!

I've got depression too, dude, and this hot weather + $$$ worries is dragging my ass through the mud too (plus I tried to back off my depression medication for 2 weeks... BAD idea). Right now it's absolutely no fun whatsoever to get in there and lift. Bleh. Just gots to getcher ass in there!

You don't have to detail the log out. Just make sure that you log the gist of what you do. ie., how'd you eat and/or workout that day.
Then, just keep logging or we'll give you a ration...
As to good workouts for busy gyms, have to you looked into Turbulence Training? Most of Craig's TT workouts are pretty busy gym/superset friendly. Here's a sample: How to do TT in a Busy Gym
Even the others can usually be tailored for your gym, since you can always drag some dbs over to the other station you're working on for your superset. I have to mix up the order of the TT workouts, periodically, to accomodate the way my gym is setup.

Ah, rem, not sure what time zone you're in but it's 8:30 here on the west coast, so it's probably later there. That means you gotta get to bed, so you can get up at a decent hour and get started on that Day 2 workout ... or else there's gonna be a lot of us kickin' yer ass about 15 hours from now ....

Rem, have you tried an exercise partner? How long have you been without an exercise?
Forget all that..
Just get up and get to the gym. Don't forget to shower it will surely cheer you up.

Thanks to all of you who replied. I DID IT!
At 4:45 this morning, the alarm goes off. Immediately I think "sleep in bed.....gym.....sleep in bed.....gym.....then it hit me. I would be facing the wrath of my forum brothers and sisters if i don't get up and go. So...one sleepy foot in front of the other and aways I goes.
Thanks for the supports. You guys and gals are wonderful!
