A long time ago I was just like you. I know how it feels to exercise and train your heart out and not recieve the results you want. I spent years researching, reading and perfecting techniques and methods frm different fitness professionals. I have come up with the most powerful and proven programs to get you in the shape of your life. The beautiful thing here is all of this is yours at a fraction of the cost of other personal trainers. Everything is done right from the internet and as you train I will be in personal contact with you to help answer all questions you have. visit www.certifiedpersonaltrainingo nline.com for details

Yo Garrett: I'm not sure how our host JP wants to treat this post. I know he has a soft spot in his heart for trainers esp. ones just starting out (hey, you're 21 years old and have been a trainer for 7 years? How'd ya pull that off?).
But, I don't have one for repeat posts in all the different subforums. So I'm deleting a few duplicates in the other forums. Best of luck to you - with the world-class caliber of expert trainers we have available to us on this forum, you'll need it.

His ad reminds of those informercials" I was living in a one bedroom apartment, I had no special skills, then I came up with an idea that anyone can do and make a million dollars. Just send me $49.97 and I will send you my complete package and you will be on your way to a life of leisure". His certification course probably advised him to put his name out to as many people as possible.

Mr. CertTrainer99 PM'ed me a nasty little message and questioned my sexual orientation (I think ). Although I was originally just going to delete it and forget it, I decided to apologize to him publicly instead.
My comments about his physique were truly uncalled for and unnecessary. To me, he seems to be just another faceless spammer who shows up here and takes an unwanted stab at drumming up some internet business. In principle, I probably should have confined my comments to his actions, not his person.
It's sometimes just too easy to say stuff online that you wouldn't in person and, although I'll likely never meet this guy and he'll probably disappear soon from this forum forever (or at least until he changes his username), I just had this strange urge to apologize and offer him an invitation to join us.
Mr. CertTrainer99, in your message, you said that you are offering knowledge. I'm asking you to participate on our forums and share your knowledge with us. Show me that I'm wrong about you.
I think folks around here are pretty straight forward and direct. I think that I am that way, too, so I have to say that, when it comes to fitness and being a trainer, your own appearance is a legitimate concern. Potential clients would, naturally, use that as their first measure of your knowledge and skills. If you don't look like you've gotten yourself in shape, what kind of credibility do you have for training someone else? If you have gotten yourself in shape, why wouldn't you do like most of the other trainers out there and use that as a part of your advertising?
I don't think relying solely on your credentials - an online certification - will convince many people either, certainly not on this forum. However, I'm truthfully not that familiar with your certification. I'm more familiar with the ones offered by NSCA. Maybe I'm wrong about yours.
If you are legit, please take the time to correct my misperceptions... this is your chance to put me in my place. Care to start over?

Okay, my rules only apply to true newbies and people who genuinely have something to add to this forum. For spammers, the kid gloves are off... do your worst guys. I have absolutely NO patience for certifiable idiots who want to promote their business on this site without my permission, especially when they are promoting crappy product when our forumites learn so much valuable stuff for free. Rag on this guy all you want guys. I may just have some fun editing his post in my own inimatable style.

I guess I'm the only guy here who has a soft spot for someone trying to hustle sales for a living.
Anyway Garrett - you need to work on the site and the grammar in it a bit. Just some constructive criticism.

Guess I had a weak moment. After editing his post for fun in the Health section, I finally just deleted it.
If the guy steps up to the plate and shows his stuff as I invited him to do, then I'll give him the respect he deserves. If he moves on off into Internet-sucker-land, as I suspect he'll do, then so be it.

I don't find it necessary to be nice. He looks like a lard-ass. I know too many guys on here who work their asses off to stay in shape and this guy comes along with a "I talk the talk, but don't walk the walk" bullshit web site.
No apologies from me.
