Read the article in Runner's World. Admittedly the magazine has a slant, but say it ain't so JP!

It said that? Well, that certainly bursts my bubble. I have that issue on my desk, but haven't read it yet. I didn't work with him as much once he started into his intense mileage training. Maybe that's what he meant.

It didn't say he never lifted wieghts. It just stated that he did a walking then running program from the moment he was diagnosed and does
not say he did anything else. It attributes his transformation to diet and running.

By the way, if you have ever been interviewed for an article, you know that what you said and what makes the final article can be very different!
