If you are new to this site, welcome to JP Fitness. We are happy to have you here. Before posting a fitness question, it may behoove you to read all the "featured posts" at the tops of each subforum.
To existing members, let us not forget why we are here, and that we were once new to fitness ourselves, and ALWAYS be courteous, patient, and kind to new people, even if the question is repetitive or simple. As this forum grows, it is increasingly more important that we maintain the integrity of this site, and remember above ALL ELSE that we do not come across as "clique-ish", rude, sanctimonious, or mean in any way. I am not singling anyone out with this statement... Just observing that things have been sliding a little bit recently, and to keep this site above the likes of MH forums or others, we must all take ownership and responsibility for this site and our conduct. Please keep this in your mind as you read and reply to anyone's post.

Excellant points well taken, JP. That was a major flaw in the MH forum....if you could ever get the server up to speed to read the MH forum.

Thanks for the word, JP.
Hey, all, it's my profession to instruct, guide, & correct students who often have what seem to be ingnorant questions, silly preconceptions and misconceptions, and who at times seem determined to not correct what I tell them to change. But, I try not to feel frustrated or feel that someone is a dummy. I was a white belt once, too, and I'm still a student myself. The longer I practice and learn, the more humble I become.
Let's focus on being helpful, understanding, & patient teachers and students. And, if we just can't help ourselves from saying something negative or derogatory, then maybe let's just not say it. Positive words, positive results! This forum should continue to be the best damn fitness forum on the web!

Well said Chris!!
I appreciate all the help I received from this forum in the past. I have only been lifting for a little over a year now so I'm sure I have asked some questions that seemed stupid to the vets here, but I always have felt respected and the responses were thought out and intended to help. So to everybody here, Thank You and as Chris and others have said lets keep it a positive experience here....

Welcome, Lachlan. It's great you found this site. There are a lot of knowledgeable and experienced folks here, and most even have brains and personality to go along with their fitness. Glad to have you here!
So, what are the most popular sandwiches down under?
