Has anyone incorporated yoga into their fitness routines?? I know essentially nothing about it. I checked a book out at the library recently by a guy (name escapes me) who advocates weight training, cardio, and his power yoga program for general fitness. Personally, I don't really relate to the author very well... he says lots of California-esque Yoga-ish stuff like doing yoga will "cleanse the organs" (say what?!?!?!). And his diet recommendations are for dinners comprised of rice, veggies, and tofu. Don't relate to that! BUT - his yoga workouts do look challenging and interesting. While I don't know that I'll be able to guide the energy of my extremities toward my "heart center" (whatever that is), I wonder whether incorporating yoga sessions could be beneficial in other areas.
