Having a brain fart here. Maybe it's the early hour, but I can't find my bookmarks for maintaining training and diet if you travel a lot. As I mentioned in the Off-Topic forum, there's a good possibility that I will be traveling five days out of the week for work in the near future.

Obviously, I want to try to stay at places with real gyms or who have deals with nearby gyms, but I can easily do an in-room, bodyweight workout (just need to buy a Door Gym or similar pull-up bar). If I'm in an HIIT phase, I can use the parking lot (with convenient parking space stripes serving as distance markers). Diet, however, is a concern. If driving, I can pack a cooler with all my goodies. If flying, there might be some questions about all the organic material showing up on the x-ray machines (plastic explosives show up as organic, too)

I'd greatly appreciate any comments, suggestions, and links. Thanks.

I have to travel a lot with work and I've found that even in top class hotels they have pretty poor free weights. Often though they have a link with a local gym where you can pay to go or they may have a pass - I'd research in advance.

Other than that I've never had problems carrying whey or creatine internationally, though I have now found both in sachets which stops me getting powder all over my luggage . I normally carry protein bars as I find airports are where your nutrition can go really wrong, especially if you're delayed, and always drink a lot of water as travel is dehydrating.

I've had a look at bands etc to see if there's anything portable to help with exercising but not found anything practical. Not seen any useful websites either.
